Rooms small and not laid out well. Sink for washing hands is on one side of the room in a 2 bed room. Also clothing for both residents are stored on one side of the room. Bathroom door when opened blocks too much space. Not enough pillows for residents to use. Many nurses and nurse aides seemed very nice, helpful and caring, however, one medication nurse gave meds at wrong time or wrong manner and even missed giving all medication. Social services person was rude and stated wrongly that all meds were given properly and that nurses had a 3 hour window to give meds. When I asked to speak to facility physician assistant I was told they would get back to me and PA never did get back to me. After being there several days, I was told all meds had not been delivered from pharmacy and NH had ran out of the medication to give. I asked if they could notify doctor to see if there would be another order and nurse said she would, but I doubt she asked dr. It took about 2 days to get the medication. My family member was there for 11 days and only got 2 showers. When we asked for a shower, we were told family member would get one when they had time to do it. One day I had to ask 4 times for family member to be gotten out of bed and it took aide about 2 hours to find a chair for family member to get up. I will never take another family member to this place. It looks pretty, but they should spend more time on training staff.

It was a very clean facility. You could tell that she was taken very good care of.all her linens was cleaned regularly if not on a daily basis. All the workers were very polite and had no trouble in attending to anything she couldn't do by herself. The other thing I saw that needed attention was the amount of food they recieved. It is not cheap living in assisted living and should provide better food. I also had a nurse that was very rude and acted like she was too good to help her with her groceries, bathing, walking ect.I immediatly reported her that looked into and saw how rue she was to everyone and took immediate action. besides that I would reccommend this facility to anyone she was very happy there and I couldn't think them enough for making her happy!

The facility is very beautiful and well keep. The residence have plenty of room and activities to keep them happy/busy. Their rooms are also very nice and furnished appropriately. The only reason I don't give it a five star rating is because on occasion the faculty can seem pre-occupied and not as helpful as they should be with the residents. But I have never been to the Mountain Manor and it not be spotless. They do keep everything sparkling clean and the landscaping and grounds are always keep clean and trimmed with very nice bushes/flowers. One big plus I give is they seem to be very into the seasons of the year and always have very great decor to match which I think helps with demeanor. Over all I would say if I had to live at one these kind of facilities this one would be a great choice.
