Sunrise is a beautiful facility and they have very nice rooms. The staff is really friendly and nice. There are lots of activities going on and the food is good. I was in assisted living for a couple of months last year but my condo was flooded so they redid it. It was a 2-room apartment. They also have 1-bedrooms and studios. They have a library, exercise three times a week, brain exercises twice a week, church services on Sundays and during the week for the Catholic community. They have Bingo on Monday afternoons, and on Saturdays they always have outside entertainment like a music type thing or a movie. They had an old building that they tore down and built a new one, and they also own duplexes and triplexes and I live in one of those right now in independent living. I've been here for 16 years.

The staff are very helpful and constantly seeking the best care and life for their residents. There are varied levels of care available. And there are new facilities, and new buildings are being built to replace the older rooms.There are regular, if not daily, activities for the residents. There are Bible studies and book studies. There are musicians--bluegrass, country, piano, vocal. There are special days, like Grandparents Day, where a special meal is prepared, and relatives and friends are invited.The staff are constantly seeking to make things better.
