We chose Chautauqua Guest Home #3 for mom mainly because it was close to home. She hasn't really been there that long. They seem to be taking really good care of her. I pop in quite often, so I would say they are caring. My mom says that she likes the food. They have activities twice a day. I haven't been there when she actually participated. They have an exercise room. They serve a night snack. They have a beauty shop. I think it's overpriced. It's real close to the hospital.

I was so impressed when my father needed to stay in a nursing home and we chose 9th Street because they really treated us like we mattered. I was nervous to take him to a nursing home because we have all heard stories. But it was so welcoming and friendly. The staff was great and the food was actually good to my surprise. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing care for a loved one.
