My husband is in Pinnacle Specialty Care, but he is still in his rehab room. He is waiting for a long-term room, and so far, that hasn't come up. Nevertheless, I'm pretty satisfied with them. As far as I'm concerned, they have given him good care. Of course, he is not satisfied because he wants to come home, so he finds things wrong, and he keeps telling me what they're doing or what they are not doing. However, all my dealings with them have been good. The staff members are very good. When I have questions or I want to get messages to him, they will take the phone to him and give him the message. So I like the way they're working with him. I've not tried the food myself, but I help him eat dinner usually every night. He is diabetic, so they don't have a lot of carbs and all that for him. The food is good for him, too. My husband's room is nicely sized. It has a bathroom, a bed, and a chair. They let us bring in a larger TV than what they have, so he could see it better. I do his laundry, so they put that in a special bag for me, and I take it home. They've been very helpful to me and to him. Of course, every place is busy, and sometimes it takes a few minutes to get to him if he wants something, but that's a usual thing for any place you go.

Please do not put your loved one here. You will save yourself a lot of stress and anxiety. And also not feel guilty about having your loved one treated horrible, specifically by third shift staff.

My mom had rehab at the Pinnacle Specialty Care for a couple of months. The aides responded very well and were very speedy for the most part. The nurses were really good, and the rehab was wonderful. The amenities were great. They had a beauty parlor and a lot of activities that she refused to participate in. It could be long term if needed. If you didn't like what you were served or what was on the menu, they had ala carte that you could order from. They're very accommodating even down to the meals. A couple of aides were apparently not wanting to be working there and a few weren't friendly, but overall they're very attentive. The nurses would come in and talk about why she couldn't have a pain pill yet. The building was awesome and newer, and you wouldn't think "nursing home" when you walk in. The rooms were nice and kept clean.
