"Arbor Landing was very nice. I didn't see any problems with it. It's an absolutely beautiful facility, and the people who work there were willing to work with my mom's needs. She's an insulin-dependent diabetic, and she needed, 10 minutes, four times a day, for someone to come in to help with her injections. They were going to help me with that and worked out an affordable package for her. They were just terrific. The facility looked very independent, very homey, non-institutional-like. There's a lot of nature around there, and everything is bright and clean. "

"It is independent living but that's not what I need. I need assisted living. Well, it was really nice and really good. Debra was great. The rooms were good and nice size. As far as I can remember, amenities were available, too. I saw the dining area and it was rather elegant."

"The biggest compliment I can share is how carrying the staff is . Every one from the office, housekeeping, dietary, seeks to make my mothers stay as good as possible. Durning Covid-19, for the protection of all, activities and outings are very limited. But when possible they try hard to make things as normal as possible. Before Covid, activities were what my mother really liked. "

"Mom has been at Sunset Creek Commons for 4 years now. She has a really nice apartment there. She wears a medical alert necklace. The thing that I like the best is the manager and the maintenance help. They stay on top of things, and they are very responsive if there's an issue with the apartment. The place is very clean. They have a no smoking policy, which I like. If they catch someone smoking, then they are evicted. They go into the apartments twice a year to inspect them and make sure that people are keeping their apartments clean. If not, they are given a timeline of cleaning it up. They have a meeting room that they can use. Occasionally, they have a potluck dinner."

"I'm leaning towards River Park Senior Living. It met most of my requirements as far as living arrangements and storage, which is important to me. Every apartment has independent storage at no additional cost, so it was a big attraction for me. They have studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms, and I'm looking at two-bedrooms. They were very professional and very kind. It was a nice tour. We went through a couple of units as well as the game rooms, the communal areas, the kitchen and things like that. I got a good feeling for the property. I did see a number of people in the dining room happy."
