"Everything about the tour at Bickford of Bourbonnais was fine. Everybody was friendly and everything was great. The room I saw was small but it was fine and everything about it was good, it's just a lot smaller than I'm used to. Their studios are very small but they've got everything I needed. They offered therapy, rides to places like the grocery store, grooming, and haircut, so they offer the chance to get out which is great. Overall, it was very good."

"Riverside is all very nice, but it’s expensive. The staff is very nice and professional. They’ve got various activities, bingo, arts, computers, church, and shopping trips. I have a one bedroom apartment; they’re all one or two bedroom apartments. It’s a standard one bedroom apartment; you own a private bath and full kitchen. The food is good. "

"We visited Gateway community. I like the independent living because you had your own yard. It is a modular home. It is almost like a mobile home, but it is called a modular home. You get different sizes and different bedrooms. You could pretty much decorate your house. They are beautiful. I saw that they have different activities like bingo and dances. The location is very safe. They have a rec center. It is well kept. People still take care of their own lawn, and they are nicely done. I don't see any run down areas. I know a few people who live there, and they are very happy. I never see any garbage cans outside or anything, but I don't like rules and I don't like being told what I can and cannot do with my house. "

"I am moving into Maple Brook. I like the community because it is a senior citizen area. It's nice and clean there. They're very, very good. They're pleasant and easy to deal with. Their dining area is nice. They have a full kitchen, a seating area, and a pool table to play games. I like the appearance and the quietness of the place."

"I love the fact that they have 3 healthy meals a day, clean my apartment once a week, will do your laundry if you need them to, 24 hr on call assistants, VERY friendly staff!! Bingo 3 times a week, entertainment (when possible due to Covid-19), pets are allowed!! The rooms are one or two bedrooms and easy to get in showers!"
