My mother-in-law moved into Riverside Senior Life Communities. It is a very clean, neat, and attentive assisted living place. They give you exactly what you need. The staff has been wonderful, and she's very happy there. The staff are all friendly and upbeat. They have crafts and exercise classes. I mean, it's just wonderful for her. She has a studio room.

We chose Riverside Senior Life at Kankakee because it was bright and they check on the residents every 2 hours. It was definitely the best one we looked at. It was very clean and well kept up.

Westwood Estates' staff was very friendly. The grounds were very clean, nice, and well kept. The rooms and apartments were great, big, and had balconies. They offer you a garage for your car, too. The dining room looked big and had a good selection of food. It was a lot cheaper for what you get.

Riverside Senior Life at Kankakee is a very nice place. The people are very nice. I have not met a crabby person here. The meals and the dining area are very good. The room is okay. We have exercise classes and crafts.

Riverside is all very nice, but it’s expensive. The staff is very nice and professional. They’ve got various activities, bingo, arts, computers, church, and shopping trips. I have a one bedroom apartment; they’re all one or two bedroom apartments. It’s a standard one bedroom apartment; you own a private bath and full kitchen. The food is good.
