The staff is great at Eastview Terrace. I have no complaints, so far. They're taking great care of my mom. The building is old, but could be updated. It's a single story. The nurse's station is in the middle of the building, and then there's a wing to each side of that station. I like that setup because no one is really very far from the nurse's station. There's a lot of staff, and they're always mingling around and know what's going on. It doesn't matter who answers the phone, they know my mom and know what's going on. I was able to try the food on Saturday before Mother's Day and what we had was great. The facility seems clean. It doesn't have a strong odor like some nursing homes do. It's just beaten up. It needs to be spruced up, but it's not dirty. They take a lot of Medicaid patients too.
