Hale O Meleana was new and pretty. Everybody seemed very nice. It was very, very quiet. They kind of emphasize resident privacy. We thought it would be better for somebody who was maybe able to get around a little bit more on their own. It was clean. The staff was nice, informative, and very friendly. They had classes and outings and an outdoor courtyard. Overall, it was very nice. It was just very expensive, not somewhere that we would put our mom, just because it didn't fit her.

Hale O Meleana was new and pretty. Everybody seemed very nice. It was very, very quiet. They kind of emphasize resident privacy. We thought it would be better for somebody who was maybe able to get around a little bit more on their own. It was clean. The staff was nice, informative, and very friendly. They had classes and outings and an outdoor courtyard. Overall, it was very nice. It was just very expensive, not somewhere that we would put our mom, just because it didn't fit her.

My father will be moving into Hale O Meleana. It was a really nice place. I liked the layout of the rooms. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about senior living. The rooms were very nice. They showed the common areas and the dining area. They had a beautiful courtyard. My mom really liked the food. They have transportation and laundry services, but the apartments just had a microwave and a refrigerator. The place was very well-maintained.
