"My grandparents were residents there back in 2007 to 2008. My grandfather was only there a short time before his passing but my grandmother was there until her death in July 2008. The staff and the facility are excellent in the care that is provided. The staff grew to be family. They were always compassionate and very professional when it came to dealing with my grandmother's needs. She so enjoyed playing bingo and the different activities that were provided. The staff went far beyond their duties. They were friends to the residents. I applaud them for everything they do and could not have asked for a better place for my grandparents to have lived their final days. "

"I visited Courtyard Gardens in Lawrenceville, GA. to check out the facility and the programs it has to offer its' residents. I must say that I was impressed by the home. It had an "at home" feel to it and the staff seemed to genuinely care about the residents. I worked for a different facility many years ago and because of how terrible it was, I was hesitant to ever have a loved one placed in a home. Courtyard Gardens was recommended by a friend who convinced me that this residence was different from those of the past. I was pleasantly surprised to see that she was right. The residents I encountered seemed happy and most were busy doing activities of one sort or another. They get taken on trips, play games, participate in fitness activities, create gifts for their loved ones in crafting classes, etc. By the end of the visit, I felt better knowing that there was a place available for my parents (should it ever be needed) that had a the feel of home and a real since of community. If you have fears and impressions of what you think an assisted living home is like, I encourage you to check out Courtyard Gardens. I don't believe you will be dissapointed. "

"It was very clean and very nice. We liked it, but it just wasn't for my dad. The staff during the tour was very informative, very nice, and very thorough. We saw maybe two or three rooms, and they were spacious, nice, and clean. Everything smelled good. The dining area was very clean and very nice. They have movies, an activity room, gardening, and crafts."

"The Oaks at Braselton was very nice. The tour was well done. The person who gave us the tour was very helpful. She gave me a lot of tips about what to look for and what kinds of things we would need to do. She was exceptionally good. It was well-maintained, and it was appropriate for what we were looking for. The accommodation was very nice. They have studio and one-bedroom apartments. They were having a special dessert, and the person was playing live music in the common area, so that activity was very nice."

"I went to All in One Personal Care. I liked it because it was nice and clean, and the caregiver was friendly and knowledgeable. She gave me a lot more information. So, if I had to choose a place, I would put him there. The structure was great, it was clean, no odor. I highly recommend it. It has a real peaceful atmosphere, serenity. It was a small house, but it was only about three rooms where she could hold up to four partitions at a time, but it was nice."

"The facility is so nice. It was clean; the employees were nice and helpful. The administration was pleasant and very friendly to visitors and residents. They have many activities for the residents to be able to participate in physical exercises that the residents can do. They have different churches come in to teach the word of God. They allow many volunteer to come and provide services for the residents: manicures, pedicures, games, puzzles. There is just a lot of activities for the residents to participate in. The staff seems to really care about the residents and they love what they do. The residents seemed to really like where they live and the amenities that are provided at this facility. The even take the residents to Walmart and different stores. This all provides for as much independence as possible. I really think that this facility is an excellent facility and I would refer family and friends to this facility. "

"I toured the Regency House of Buford. Everyone we met was very accommodating and very personable. The person we talked to was very good. They showed us the whole thing. They showed us where they eat and where they have activities. They showed us their apartments. It was a very positive one. We saw the studio and one-bedroom apartments. They have a calendar full of activities. All of them were the same. They all have morning devotions and exercises at 10:00 a.m.. They go out for lunch once a month or once a week, something like that. It was well-maintained, and the staff was very helpful."

"My mom has moved in. They have about 25 residents, they have three meals a day, and they have just a bedroom and a bath for each person. There is a lot of memory care folks out there, but we've been pleased. We're happy where she is until we need to go somewhere else. The rooms were originally built just as a single room, but now they have put two of them together, so you have a living space for the TV and chairs. They're not like apartments. It is just mainly a room because it was built a long time ago. They are built what they call double room but it's two of the smaller rooms with the wall removed in between. It is very comfortable. They have several big areas where they can all meet and do their activities like cards and stuff and have guests come in. They have a big piano, so there's plenty of room for gathering. There are two dining rooms for each part of the building, but it's all one level, so it's very easy to negotiate with a walker. They have a beauty salon, a courtyard, and very nice surroundings. There are rocking chairs on the front porch. It's a very nice setup. My mom has been happy with the meal, but I haven't eaten with her."

"The ladies that run the Enrich Senior Living of Norcross were lovely people, but the location would be difficult for me to see my brother, because of the traffic going there. The room was extremely small, and that was the studio. They also have activities, but the number of people they interact with at any given time is much smaller, and that's due to COVID. The services they offer include help in clothing, bathing, and medications."

"I visited Parc at Duluth. I saw some of the apartments, and they were very nice. We wanted at least 2 bathrooms, and a lot of the others don't have that. "

"I saw Oaks at Tucker assisted living and for me, the personnel was genuinely welcoming and happy. It was clean, smelled good, and the property looked like it was in good condition. The location, for me, was perfect and then the amenities for the price point that I was going to be getting for my mom were also good. The staff was amazing. They have a library, community rooms, a garden, and an eating facility or the lunchroom. It was all very nice. I saw a studio, a 1-bedroom apartment, and something else that had a balcony attached to it."
