My dad moved to Barrington Terrace of Naples. They have some tenured staff. They were very caring. The assessment was professional. The layout of the facility is very conducive to folks with memory issues. It's very easy to navigate and easy to remember. They have multiple activities throughout the week. They do have exercise programs. They have crafts, they play games, and they have movies. They have meal plans. They have outings that are pre-scheduled. They schedule ahead of time when they take outings and field trips, things of that nature. About once a month, I have a meal with my dad there. The food was good. They have healthy options with low salt and several options to pick from, so there's quite a bit of variety.

I thought Barrington Terrace of Naples was a very nice facility. We had a very good meeting with the sales representative. I thought it was a good fit for my mother. It's very clean. The rooms were very nice and roomy. The price was the price point we were looking at. It could use a little freshening up on the exterior. It's a little tired-looking, but the overall experience was very good. The staff was also very good. They had long-term personnel that seemed to be very caring to their patients. However, I think they can improve on the exterior. It looked a little worn. A little fresh coat of paint and a little bit of aesthetics could have been improved on.

Barrington Terrace of Naples was very manageable because it was all on one floor. It seemed to revolve around the dining room areas, so there were no dead-end hallways. We saw a studio room, and it was pretty bright and it had plenty of room storage. The bathroom was very accessible. The staff who assisted us with the tour was very nice.

Barrington Terrace of Naples is actually one my in-laws are considering as a final choice. One of the things they really liked was it was dog friendly, and the fact that everything is on one level, so you're not dealing with elevators and things like that. They have Parkinson's specialty certified nurses there. They're familiar with Parkinson's in particular, so my mother-in-law likes that also. The staff during the tour was very helpful and she did a lot of follow-up feedback. I referred her to my father-in-law and they are now communicating together. The menu looked good, but we were not able to sample the food.

Barrington Terrace of Naples has a very friendly atmosphere. From what I understand, the people that have worked there have worked there for several years. They do not have a lot of turnovers. People have been there, and they're very happy working there . The rooms were very nice. They took us to the dining room, and we met the chef. The tour was great. They took us through the whole place. All the people seemed to be very content. I was very pleased with it. The only thing that I didn't like is that it didn't seem like there was good parking. It was very bad and it was very hard to get a parking spot. But that was the only downfall, other than that, it was a very, very accommodating place. As we walked in, they were playing games right in the center area there. We got to see a couple of rooms. The rooms were all decorated to their taste. They had decorations on their door. The dining room was set up very nicely. It was set up very, very pretty. We went to the clubhouse where they have socials, and that was done very nicely, too. Even though it's an older facility, everything is warm and friendly. It's very nice and clean.

Since the pandemic things have gotten pretty bad. The level of care is at its lowest since my loved one has been there. Lots of corners being cut - food quality and portions , staff training and continuous staff turnover, lack of activities, and it goes on. Plus, rates have gone up a lot. It's hard to hear your loved one say they're worried about their basic health and care when you spend so much money every month.

Barrington Terrace of Naples is a mixed community, but they're not as separated as they are in some communities. My daughter is a memory care person, but the room that we were interested in, put her in kind of a mainstream situation. It was excellent. We would have moved her there, but she didn't want to go. They had fantastic staff. They had a large staff, and they're extremely friendly. Everyone was interested in her and they seemed to have what we thought was a cut above a lot of nursing home staff. I only saw two rooms there. One was an upgrade and the other was a standard. It was perfectly acceptable. The standard one had a private bath and a view, and it was adequate. The cleanliness was excellent. It's in a high traffic area and you were going to get noise and exhaust from the highway. It wasn't a huge problem, but it was there. It's an older building. They were wonderful to her, but she didn't want to go.

My wife is pretty sure she's going to stay at Barrington Terrace of Naples. I liked the people that I met there very much. The person who showed us through was very pleasant and explained things quite well. Everything was sort of centrally located where my wife wouldn't have to go very far from wherever her room would be to the main eating place and all that. We saw one of the rooms in the center, one of the smaller rooms. They stated that they had laundry services. Somebody makes the bed for my wife and various things like that. Plus, they have a nurse on staff 24-7. The staff was extremely friendly, personable, and seemed to be pretty knowledgeable about all the questions I had anyhow. They sent home like a cheesecake thing that the pastry chef pages a sample. We were there right at lunchtime, and everything looked extremely good and smelled excellent. They have a patio and outside walkway that they use to take a walk every morning. My wife was pleased with the place and didn't even want to go see the others.

When I first visited, I was very nervous for my parents. Ann,Tamera and staff were very informative and reassuring. They explained all services very well and their tour was thorough as well as choices of rooms. They are not some large extravagant facility, however my parents have been there for approximately 8 months and I have to say from top to bottom staff is very engaging with them. They have also always made time for my questions and been very accomodating to requests. Every time I speak to them it's as though they've come to love and care for my mom and dad as family and I can't tell you what a relief that is! If you're looking for a safe and caring environment for your loved one/ones,I strongly recommend taking a tour of Barrington Terrace!

Barrington has a very nice layout and a lot to offer different levels of assisted-living depending on the needs of your loved one. I find it to be one of the few in our community to have more to offer and the staff are so caring and compassionate about helping their residents. Definitely would highly recommend this facility to someone looking for a perfect fit for their loved one.

My mom was in memory care for 4.5 years , the rooms are very pleasant, well kept and clean. Linda is in charge of the memory care unit and was kind, and considerate , she was very helpful especially the last few days my mom was alive. They keep the place immaculate and play music, games , dancing and all kinds of activities . It is not high tech but for patients with memory care it is not necessary. All they need is a hug and assurance . Recommend to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

Barrington Terrace of Naples would not be a place that I would choose. The woman who took me on the tour was absolutely delightful. I love her to pieces. The facility just was not pleasing to my eye at all. When we talked on the phone, she said this was not the place for me. I saw both independent and assisted living there.

The staff genuinely care about the residents' well being. My mother in law lived there for a short time and when it came time for my aunt and uncle to move, I chose Barrington Terrace.

Mom's been there almost a year now and is largely well cared for by a very caring staff. At 93 she has her idiosyncrasies and they mostly indulge her. The staff to patient ratio is good and medical care is very good. Best suited for moderately active seniors as the highly active might find it wanting. Single level living facility built in central main hub with radial residence wings fashion. Mom said she would rate 98% of the staff as tremendously caring very helpful.

We did a temporary respite care at Barrington Terrace. It was a very nice place. I was looking for a place that would take my husband for a week or so. I called all over town, and they were the only one that had a room. My husband was comfortable there. He had a nice room, but not as big as the room he has right now. It was a smaller place, so I don't think they had as much activities at the other facility. However, they did a very good job, and they were very accommodating.

Mom has been living in Barrington Terrace for two weeks now. So far, everything has been fine. The staff has been doing a good job. The rooms are spacious and attractive. The food and dining room are wonderful too. The community is not cheap, but it is reasonable enough. We are satisfied on what we are getting.

There is another one I felt was excellent, but it is a little more for memory care and a little bit more for intensive care. The name is Barrington Terrace. I've talked to the general manager over there, and she is superb. The good things I saw would be the conditions of the place, the cleanliness, and the professionalism of the staff. You get the impression that they really care. The staff has been there long term. They have activities from like birthday celebration to bingo. It is a little bit less clinical. There isn't any kind of clinic feeling at all.

The facility at Barrington Terrace is depressing. I don't know much about the staff, but there were people sitting around in their wheelchair just sleeping all around the community. We looked at their activities, and one of the examples they had was a trivia game. When we checked the dining room I was kind of unsettled. They were outside the dining room with a medicine cart handing out people's medicine. I really don't know what to say to improve the place. But I'd probably tell others to check it out though.

Barrington is good. We liked it a lot, and that was another one we were close to deciding but my mom loves to play bridge. They had cards but not bridge. Although that seems like a silly reason, to my mom that was very important. It was very nice -- more luxurious looking appearance wise -- but it is right on the highway, not good for walking, and I was thinking that she would end up there.

Barrington Terrace was a lot older than what we preferred for my mother. I think that their upkeep, if scored, was a five out of five. I think it was more like a skilled nursing home. The building was old; it was older than some of the other places we looked at. It was just that they had very old people; a lot of them in wheelchairs, actually. We weren't there that long because it just wasn't the kind of place I was looking for. We had zero interest. I'm sure we saw the dining room, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. Those were the two things: it was just older people in there and it was far from my house. I remember it not being real clean. I wouldn’t say it's dirty, but I don't think it was immaculate either. I'd give the cleanliness factor a score of three out of five.

My husband couldn't eat; they fed him at all three meals. I was very happy with the care at Barrington Terrace. They kept them a lot more active. They had movies. They had music in the afternoon and tried to get them to sing and participate in it. They had exercises for those who were well enough to do them. They had church services. I think that's pretty good.

The staff is all friendly and helpful. My grandma smokes in her room, which is why she was kicked out of other facilities. This facility puts up with it somehow.

My grandfather was a resident of Barrington Terrace for a couple of years. We moved him there after having troubles with his previous assisted living home. The move was good for him. The facilities were clean and easily accessible. The rooms felt like apartments instead of nursing hospital rooms. The main lobby was open and bright and most importantly, inviting. There are plenty of activities for the residents to participate in. There is a feeling of independence with a movie theater and computer room, right off of the main lobby. I loved the radial layout, making it hard to get lost. The general staff was friendly and understanding, although the wait staff in the dining area could be a little more detail oriented. During the end of his life, I think they could have provided more skilled staff to check on him as the couple I saw were impatient. However, there are very few complaints about the overall handling of my grandfather. He was always clean, fed, and properly medicated.
