My brother moved into The Colonnade at Beckett Lake. The main reason we chose The Colonnade was its proximity to where he used to live because his son lives in the same area. From the outside, the facility is very attractive. It looked like they kept the place pretty nice. They pretty much have the same amenities as the others. They had a nice, large dining area capable of bringing people in with wheelchairs or walkers without any issues. They had a nice outside area where people could sit around the pond and feed the ducks. They had a physical therapist, which my brother needed. The people are friendly and caring. My brother likes going to the dining room, so I'm assuming that the food is fine. In a couple of instances, they've brought the food up to his room. There are plenty of activities there. They seemed to offer everything that we were looking for, especially in the rehab area of being able to work on his legs and stuff. They had a barber shop and a nice courtyard. The hallways were wide. They had rails up so that the people could hold on.

The Colonnade at Beckett Lake was a nice area with nice facilities. The staff was also very nice and very friendly. Their room was a nice size and they looked well organized. They had a nice dining area. It was nice-sized, too, and had nice seating. They had a salon and a small gym. They had an outdoor area that you can walk around and there was a lake in the back. The residents were very friendly. They place was very cozy and something that would be nice to live in.

I'm in the assisted living of The Colonnade at Beckett Lake. It's all very good, but unfortunately, there's no pool. They have a multi-purpose room where they do a lot of different activities like bingo, word game, and other card games. They have a movie room, a small room that we use for coloring, and a library where they often play dominoes. I'm an arts and crafts kind of person rather than the games, so I don't do the games, but when they have arts and crafts, I participate in that, and they're pretty good. They have just kind of upped it two days a week now, which is nice for me. We have a new executive chef, and the food is much better. The staff is very friendly, very nice, and caring. We have lived here for three years now.

We looked at The Colonnade at Beckett Lake. It was a pretty nice facility, but it had more of a feeling like a nursing home when you go in. The rooms were quite a bit smaller than the other facility. The facility was very pretty, and it was on the lake. They didn't have a whole lot of things. The workout room had very few weights, and nobody used it. All they have is a putting green. They didn't have a lot of things going for them in my opinion. The staff members were really good. They invited us to a gathering that they were having. They also invited us to participate in a meal and things of that nature, but we chose not to do that. They didn't bring us to the memory care. They just told us where it was in the building and said that was the memory care.

I like The Colonnade at Beckett Lake; they're our second choice. I like their location, and it seemed like a great community. They're a little less expensive than the place where my mom is now. It's a very good place, and the people were fine. I was more concerned with how the staff would answer questions that my brother and I had, and The Colonnade at Beckett Lake staff did really good.

It is a real nice place. It's very clean and very well taken care of. They have an excellent staff and they take care of my friend. They do everything for her, like serve her meals, bathe her, and help her get dressed. They clean her room twice a week and they change her bedding. They're really good. I've been around several of the staff, and they're always doing their job and helping people. They have different menu everyday. My friend gets to order off of a menu, but because she has macular degeneration, they deliver her food to her room. They even gave her a thing to wear around her neck so when she pushes a button, they come right away. My friend has a studio apartment that has a refrigerator, a microwave, an excellent big bathroom, two closets, and a big TV.

Me and my dad visited. It's a nice facility, and my dad likes it. The people that I talked to have been very cordial and accommodating. The rooms are adequate.

The room is fairly large, and it’s a double room, but she has no one there with her. It appeared clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and open to questions, and they have to prepare soft foods for her.

It was excellent. The people there were nice, but it turned out that my mom was not a candidate for their type of facility because she needed assistance getting in and out of the bed. The rooms were excellent. They were like little apartments. They were very nice. The residents looked normal. They were about to be shuttled to a mall, so there were some people that were going on their daily trip, and they looked happy. They looked active. It was nice.

My mom has been here for almost a month now. She is very happy with the schedule of activities and everything about it. Her room is very nice and very safe. It has a nice bathroom, and everything is great. The staff is treating her very well. I would recommend this facility.

My visit was very good. It was clean. Their rooms were small but it was good. Everybody was very friendly and they got us to look around. The residents looked happy. We had not eaten there, but they brought a turkey dinner one night for my wife and I which I appreciated. I would recommend it to others.
