I went to see Cappella of Pueblo West. The tour was great. The girl who was in charge there and kept us on it was wonderful, very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very considerate. The place was nice, clean, and very appealing. By all normal circumstances we were very happy with what we saw. Their accommodation was like one-bedroom apartments. We saw a number of residents in a game room playing bingo, and they all looked like they were having a good time. They had a courtyard, too. We went out there, and my loved one was really happy with the idea that he could get outside if he ended up there, so that was very encouraging.

Once you need “assistance” you’re asked to leave the facility because they can’t provide actual assistance. You have to be able to stand on your own so once you become dependent on a wheelchair for mobility you’re too much of a liability for their staff.

Everybody at Cappella of Pueblo West seemed to be friendly. They had a nice outdoor area, and the apartments looked nice. It was quiet the day we were there. There were just a couple of people that were walking down the hall, but we didn't see anybody doing anything. One of the things that they did have was a room that you could reserve if you wanted to have your family for Thanksgiving or Christmas. They would set it up and serve your family dinner there.

Cappella of Pueblo West is where my mom is, and it's very lovely (from the administration to housekeeping). It is an assisted living facility and they have wonderful food for the residents. They offer to dine in with your loved ones for a small charge of $4. They also have a lot of activities and it's very clean.

Staff unprofessional, not helpful to a resident who needs much help. Completely disappointed, more than that really. Left the room a mess & felt justified because the night shift cleans. They leave my loved one no dignity.

The community is very open, and the people are very friendly. It's clean and has a lot of activities for the older people to do. My dad seems to be very happy there and happy with the food. They play dice bowling and pinochle, do crafts, have a game room or an activity room where they can do puzzles. They seem to be quite busy there. They have a barbecue in the back where they can have dinner or have a men's night, and they serve hamburgers or play cards.

It was close to us. It was one story and really nice. However, it was not what Mom needed at this point. It was a nice, small place. The rooms didn't have kitchens. There was a courtyard, and an outside area.

This has been the best move we have ever made, from the establishment, to the food, the director, who has been nothing but fantastic in providing us with everything we could ask for, to all the staff from the kitchen on up. The marketing gal is very caring, and sees each resident as an individual, always cheerful and thinking out of the box, they all take time to make sure my mom has everything she needs, and THAT is what an assisted living place is supposed to be about, the resident in their elder years to feel comfortable, safe, and cheerful!!!!!

It was very nice and like a home. I felt very comfortable there. The staff and people I talked to were very friendly. The food was great, and the rooms were nice. I just can’t say enough about it; it was really great. I just liked it so much that I can’t seem to look anywhere else. When the time comes, I’m going to choose them.

I'm already at this community. My daughter selected it for me. The rooms are very small, the food not too good. The staff is real nice, they're fine. They have to have better meals.
