I was a volunteer who was supposed to take classes to become a cna. I was only there for a week or two and couldnt handle seeing how bad it was. Certain Cna's and nurses were on their phones 24/7, not paying any attention to what their supposed to be doing or to their patients. I was helping with activities which I loved as i am a artistic person but not even being there long and seeing a patient come in there and threw up in the trashcan next to me, couldn't find anyone for a good while either till finally a nurse came out and helped me. Honestly don't blame the fella because The food is disgusting and I would of thrown up too I have heard that it has gotten worse since I have left but I DO NOT recommend this place...

San Juan is a family atmosphere, great administration and staff, a great place to live and a great place for short term rehab. Knowledgeable nursing staff and the best part is how we are cared about as an individuals.

This assisted living provider had very friendly staff and clean facilities. My Grandmother has on several occasions made friends with members of the staff and has spoken very highly of them. They are aware of her want of indenpendence but also of the fact that she needs assistance. The facility included a variety of activties and a large indoor parakeet cage which was a nice addition. The grounds outside were well kept and maintained through out the year. Overall I would say my Grandmother as well as the rest of my family has had a very positive experience with the San Juan Living Center.
