I have been disappointed in the care provided. My husband spent 45 minutes sitting in his own waste and the nurses would not help even after two requests for clean up. Two nursing assistants came in, but said, sorry, he's not our patient. His room was grim, with barely room for 4 patients, and a window that was almost always shuttered, and a broken florescent light above his head. The food was mediocre and he would often not eat it, and lost over 15+ pounds during his stay. Also, during one particular episode, the staff grabbed his arm so hard it left a gashes that needed wound care. The junior staff seem poorly trained (and probably poorly paid). I can't recommend this facility to anyone.

This is the most caring facility. My mother spent her last few months at McClure and they treated her with such love, compassion and dignity. I cannot express my gratitude enough to these "angels" who helped my in my darkest hour. I noticed they also are quite effexctive in getting seniors "up". My mother has one roomate who was there for a short term and they were always encouraging here to get into therapy even when she was trying to be lazy. When she left it was with a smile.
