"My mother in law stayed for the 1 month respite and after just 2 weeks decided she would come to live permanently from West Texas. The Staff have all been super friendly, attentive and ready to make any adjustments necessary for her care. Every day thete is a list of activities and social events for the residents. The facility is extremely clean, smells fresh and the dining staff are A+. My mother in law is very excited to come and live here very soon as we get her new cottage ready for her. "

"Serra Sol Memory Care didn't look like an institution. It was modern looking. The staff was so attentive. They showed me the rooms. I like the room. We already picked out a room for my husband, and I liked the amenities that they offered. It's memory care. It's new, it's only about a year old. We did meet the chef, and he seems to want to cater -- in fact, my husband's Hungarian. And he asked my husband, What kind of food do you like? And my husband says, Hungarian. And he says, " Oh, I'll have to get some recipes." So I was impressed with the chef. It was so clean with no smells, no odors at all. They had large outdoor living spaces for visiting. You can visit anytime, day or night. Another thing I loved about the place, at least five days a week. They take the residents out in the van and they'll either go to the beach or go somewhere, or even if they just drive around. So in the afternoons they get them out, they just don't let them stay there, not just have to stay there all day long. I put a deposit on a room and they hold that particular room for 30 days. So now I have to go to the doctor. He has to have the doctor fill out forms. They're going to send a nurse out to the house to evaluate him. And they haven't made that appointment yet, but they'll be doing that shortly. He doesn't have to go there. They'll come to our house and evaluate his condition."

"The Fountains at Sea Bluffs was beautiful. The person who gave us a tour was very nice, very informative, and spent a lot of time with me. I was just off the cuff and made the phone call and they were able to accommodate me immediately. The dining room was also beautiful. The food looked nice and smelled great because I was there when they were doing a big snack thing and it was nice."

"Everybody was fine. We went in and had lunch. They were very nice, and the food was good. They showed us around, and it was very pleasant. The rooms were OK, although on the small side, but nice. "

"I went here and the rooms are wonderful. They have a full kitchen, in the two-bedroom they have walk-in closets, they have a hall closet, storage area, and some beautiful views from the room. The staff is friendly, nice. We haven't had a meal there, but they serve three meals a day, they have staples and they have specials each day, so a nice variety, really a good selection, a good menu. There they have assisted, and independent, and to get assisted you have to live in the assisted part, so really it doesn't meet our needs. When you first enter, it's like going on to a cruise ship, the dining room is straight ahead with a beautiful view, and because it's up high, you enter on the fourth story, so it gives an ambiance of elegance. They provide a daily exercise program, they have a nice gym, and they provide outings, films, and other things."

"We had a very good visit here. It was a very nice place. The staff was very nice. The rooms were small, but it would do. They had so many activities like crafts, discussion groups, theater, billiards, library, physical fitness, swimming pool, and a spa. I tried the food, and it was excellent. It was a good meal. I was very satisfied, and I was thinking seriously about it."

"It was in a more industrial area, and the grounds were not as landscaped beautifully as the other places. The staff members was also not as knowledgeable. I asked her questions, and she looked like she did not know her job very well. She's not quite as dynamic. The dining room was very nice, the food was good, and I had an excellent lunch. The rooms were larger, they had more space, and my mom loved the transportation. The clients were more engaged."

"My mom has been with here a little over a month. We chose it because of location, the cleanliness of the property, and the specific rooms that was available. The staff were positive and helpful. She seemed to feel comfortable there. She has an apartment with a one bedroom. It faces a courtyard and has a patio area. I was able to eat there and the food was surprisingly good. They have all kinds of things like cards and bingo for the residents to do. They also have get-togethers. The place is always neat and tidy. "

"My mother moved into Ivy Park at Laguna Woods. It's perfect for her. It's not overly expensive but it's very, very nice. The people there seem to like their jobs, and they are very friendly. The food is really good. They have movies, they play mind games, and they do grooming."
