Heritage West recently bought the previous adult day heatlh center - Young At Heart due to medi-cal fraud. Heritage West has a great reputation and is a licensed community-based day health center program. I have had the privelage to tour the facility. The facility is fairly new with large rooms to accomadate their seniors. They provide a variey of health, therapeutic, and social services to their seniors, especially those seniors who are at risk of being placed in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The location of the center is in a very up scaled and safe neighborhood. The staff members aare very professional and expereinced in their selective professions. Social and recreational activities are provided daily as well as Physical and Occupational therapy. There is a hot nutritional meal prepared everyday that is well balanced. Also, they provide a light morning snack to all their participants. Location: 3677 W.
