"I found Sunny Rose Glen through your company, and it has been really good. I am very satisfied that my mom is happy. I’ve been there with my mom when she’s had dinner, and she seems to enjoy it. I know they have a chef there; the food smells good, and looks good. She’s in a nice private room. It looks down on the courtyard, and it’s quiet. She has her own heating, and air conditioning she can control. It seems nice; like a little apartment. Their Sales Director was very helpful. I talked to her a few different times on the phone, and she was always very helpful, cordial, and professional. I would recommend it. Everything’s been really nice there so I hadn’t had any issues. "

"Last week, I checked my grandparents into Sun City Gardens. What I like best about this facility is that it is very near. Also my grandparents are residents in Canyon Lake, CA, so it is in proximity to their pastor and friends. It also came recommended by one of their friends. In terms of ambience, they have a very welcoming lobby. The main dining room/activity room is right in the front. If you walk through that open and airy dining room, you immediately would get in a very, very large courtyard. It wings on all four sides to the different parts of the facility, where you get a park-like feel. The assisted living wing is very nice. With regards to accommodations, the particular studio apartment that my grandparents ended up moving into was freshly painted and it had nice new carpeting. It looks like an apartment that you would want to rent. "

"I went to WellQuest of Menifee Lakes. It is a new facility, it's large. It has a lot of amenities and that kind of thing. But because it's new and has very few residents in it, and because it's next to the highway, I felt I would not probably choose that one. The staff took me through all of the facilities, we walked through a lot of the facilities, they have one floor that they consider assisted living. So we went on that floor. And he took me to the dining room and showed me some of the exercise rooms and stuff like that. He was business-like, I didn't find him compassionate and interested, he's like a salesman."

"We chose Wildomar; it's literally 10 minutes from my house, and I just got the best feeling over it. They take them to their doctor's appointments on Mondays and Wednesdays. It's super clean, the staff is really helpful, and they have really good food according to my uncle. They have a lot of games and activities. We're new to it, but so far, it's been a very good experience. "

"I like Ivy Park at Murrieta because it is newer than the other place. It's only been there for like three years now. I like their vaulted ceilings. The dining room was really big. The community was more updated. There was a little walking path. And even though the room was a single, I liked it. It was nice. However, they only had a microwave in the room. The staff who gave the tour was great. She was nice. They have a big patio outside. It looked decent."

"I found Murrieta Gardens for my mother, and she's moving in tomorrow. The new communities offer a lot of new things but for memory care, all those new things didn't matter because people with memory issues need to be with other people, and they don't want to be alone. Murrieta Gardens is more of a close community because it is a smaller facility. They had arts and crafts, a TV room, exercise, gatherings, outings, and small activities for the residents. The staff was excellent."

"Overall, I am very pleased with the care my Father receives at Vineyard. Employees and Caregivers are very kind and caring individuals. The facility is well kept and always clean, as are the residents rooms. Things to improve upon- Providing daily activities that are more engaging. When activities aren’t going on provide enjoyable music from their era that residents can actually hear (not elevator music). Have things more accessible to residents- large piece puzzles, magazines, coloring supplies, cards, picture books,.... Physically handing snacks to residents- many residents do not know with their mental state to ask for food. Give them the snacks, not just at snack time (this will assist with weight loss problems, as well). For the hearing impaired (many residents), maybe have the activities leader use a microphone head piece so residents can actually hear the questions during trivia and numbers during bingo, etc. this will engage more residents. It seems the caregivers for my father change regularly. Perhaps putting a whiteboard next to their room that says who is responsible for him during he day/night. Sometimes it’s hard to locate a caregiver who can answer questions about my dad because they have not assisted him that day. As the residency has increased, I am not certain the staff and medical team has increased at the same rate. I’d love to see the numbers increase as multiple caregivers can get pulled away through out the day to assist one resident who had an accident (very common), leaving others short staffed, generally for a short time. This is an area in healthcare that is on the rise, caring for elderly memory impaired, I am pleased we found a place where my father is well cared for and respectfully treated. Overall, as I said very pleased with his care. These are minor suggestions for improvement to engage more residents. "

"My loved one is at Pico de Loro. I liked the fact that it’s a closed community and that they're able to take care of his needs. What we need is memory care, which they are able to provide. He has Alzheimer’s, and he’s a wanderer. They have exercises and special outings where they’re watched like hawks. They do arts and crafts and things to help them at least with their motor development and, in his case, he likes to build model airplanes, so that works out really well. The rooms are large and completely furnished. I don’t have to buy comforters for him anymore because they provide them. Right now, I’m going to give them a 4 because I haven’t been able to get out there to physically look at it, but I feel pretty comfortable with it. I talk to them probably every week or every 10 days to get updates. "

"I can't say anything bad about Vineyard Ranch at Temecula. It was closer to my home, and it was welcoming. It looked very comfortable to sit around the entry, the lobby was wonderful, and I liked the restaurant. My mother can walk down and get any kind of food, any time of day, even in the middle of the night. The staff was wonderful and I couldn't ask for anything better."

"Our visit to Maple guest home in Hemet left us thoroughly impressed. The community boasts an impressive array of amenities that cater to the resident's needs and interests. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The facility staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was enjoyable. Although we didn't have the opportunity to sample the food firsthand, our visit coincided with lunchtime, and it was heartening to see the residents thoroughly enjoying their meals. The positive feedback from those around us confirmed the quality of the dining experience. The community offers an impressive range of amenities, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The kitchen, dining area, and bedrooms were all beautifully designed and maintained. I decided to move my father into this facility and I am very happy with it. All the above mentioned stands truthful and they are taking really good care of my father"

He goes to exercise class every day where Rosa, the Activities Director, does an excellent job. Michele, the head RN,(22 years with the Village) and her staff are all top notch caregivers. The housekeepers and maintenance personnel are helpful, friendly and exemplify 5 star service. We are very pleased and highly recommend this facility. "

"My mother-in-law has been in Brookdale Sunwest (Formerly Emeritus at Sunwest Village) for three weeks now, and it seems to be fine. It was very nice. They had just finished remodeling the old rooms so there is new carpet, and everything had been painted. I have eaten there a few times, and they do a good job. The staff is very capable. They do have a lot of activities, and she participates to some extent. We're absolutely satisfied. It's very large. It's on 40 acres, so there's a lot of property to walk the dog. "
