Right now, my husband is in assisted living at Welcome Home Atascadero. It's a nice place. However, I don't know financially how long I can keep him there, but he has settled down. It was tough for him in the beginning because he kept calling me and asking me when I would get him, but overall things are pretty good. It is as good as it can be expected. The place is not very big, so I think they are all together, both assisted living and memory care. Everybody is very friendly. They give a lot of attention to the people. My husband is always clean. He eats, and he likes the food. I don't think I could find something much better. Everybody knows my name from the very beginning, and they always greet me and say hi and ask how things are going, so they are very nice. As far as I'm seeing, it's spotless too. I ate lunch with my husband twice. It wasn't a five-star restaurant, but it was very good. About activities, my husband is absolutely not interested in any kind of activity. He does not participate in anything. Nevertheless, they have activities every day.
