I have been a patient in this facility for 29 hours. It is horrible. There have been medication screw ups that I caught, one attempt to substitute a different means of administration of a medication despite doctors’s clear instructions. I am on a low sodium diet, 1500 mg/ day, every meal so far has contained over 1000 mg., breakfast this morning over 1400!!! The room furniture appears to be from the ‘70s. My mattress has a 2” depression from side to center. The head of the room will not go flat. I have had 2 people tell me they are trying to find another one. I have been on fluid restriction of 1800cc. It is now 8;48 pm and I have had 530 cc from nursing 531 cc from dietary. They are refusing to give me more! Every time I have attempted to talk to them about it they change their story. The latest is that I have to talk to dietary! Of course dietary is not here this late . I have asked to see documentation of when I have been given water, and amount, but they refuse. I have a bit of a medical background and can be more aware of the problem than some others. But my advice is to stay away from this place. They are not like their brochure, website, and admissions personnel claim!

My mom is currently at Mountain Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation for rehab. The best thing I like is that they've got on-site care, doctors on staff, and plenty of nurses for all the patients. Her apartment, it's supposed to be two people per room. Hers is just one, it's just her and she likes that. The facility is pretty nice. They've got break rooms, weight facilities, and exercise facilities. Most of all, lunchrooms for them or dining facilities. The food is good. The staff is courteous and helpful.

They have made updates to the facility and it looks much better. The staff are caring and helpful. My dad enjoyed visiting with others and all the activities. Medical care was better there than it was at the hospital. They have a PA on call as well as in the facility 5 days out of the week

Mountain Meadows Nursing & Rehab Center is a fairly decent place. It's nice, clean, and everything, and my wife seems to be getting good care. She is in the dementia unit. The staff seems to be good and the food seems to be fairly decent. They do have one room that's got a couch and some tables in it where they can go and get out of the room if they need to, but we have also provided her with some things in her room, like a TV, coloring books, and word search puzzle books, which she likes to do. That's about the only activities that she has.
