I toured Haven Memory Care on Halcyon. I saw their meal, and it looked good. It was nice. It was very expensive. It was a private facility. It was just way out of our price range. They were private rooms. You had to furnish it if it was long-term. If it was short-term, it was a hospital-type bed. So, you get to furnish it the way you want it. The staff was very nice. They're good, and answered all your questions. If you look like you didn't understand, they went into detail. They were very friendly.

I toured Haven Memory Care on Halcyon. It looks very well cared for. The building and the outside area look well cared for. The inside is very well taken care of. The patients that were there all appeared to be comfortable and satisfied with their environment. The staff that was associated with them was very committed to what they were doing. The rooms that we saw were very spacious and clean. The tour guide was very polite and gave me a good tour. She answered all the questions that I had, and I left with a good feeling. They appear to be very well-versed and the attention that they give to the patients appears to be genuine and caring. I was impressed with everything that I saw.

Haven Memory Care on Halcyon was excellent. The marketing person was not there, so the lady who manages the facility showed me around. I talked to the lady from housekeeping as well and they appear to do a really good job. I talked to the nursing director, and we're very pleased. The only issue for my brother is that it's a two-story, but it does have an elevator. It's closed in, so the patient can't just walk away. If I were to go to a facility in Montgomery, that one would be fine for me. My cousin's wife is there. The building layout is fine. It's two stories, so you need to be able to navigate around. You're down the hall and you have to know which direction to go to, to get to the elevator, and you have to know how to use the elevator. I think they have 55 rooms. Everything is not going to be close to the entrance or to the lobby or the dining hall.
