"M&M Adult Day Service is a very loving, caring and fun atmosphere! We had my mom with M&M Adult Day Service until she had to be placed in a nursing home. They would have bible study in the morning, do crafts, listen to music and exercise everyday! We were deeply saddened when we had to leave. Ms. Martha some to the nursing home and visits my mom weekly. This is a superb facility! "

"I toured the Bristol Manor of Smithville's independent living, and the person who greeted me- I guess she was the manager- was sloppily dressed. She was not professional. If my brother had moved there, his living quarters would have been no more than a simple little, tiny hotel room, and that just didn't work. I just also felt like it was unclean, and I didn't like it at all. The person who did the tour showed me a room because it was right there in the hallway where the office was, but as soon as I saw that, I didn't even care to go any further. The building itself was old, and I just wasn't impressed at all. The parking was okay, but it was minimal."

"My step dad is in The Essex. He’s in a small bedroom with a separate living area about the size of one and half standard hotel room. He’s got a little kitchenette and a full shower that you don’t have to step up into. The folks that I spoke to liked the food there. They have a common living area and dining area. They have folks come in, and they do Bingo and cards. "

"The setup of the place is pretty cool. There are many different rooms and floors and they are open hotel style. However, the place feels very stuffy and sickly. The sterile smell and the general disposition of everyone there was unsettling. Everyone there greatly enjoyed the visits by all of us youngsters so that was nice. Was slightly depressing to go in there, not much cheer and employees there seem to be just doing their jobs nothing more nothing less. The place seemed to have all amenities that would be expected there seemed to be no neglect. "

"I'm currently staying in the Bristol Manor of Pleasant Hill. When I first moved here it was great, and recently it has gone downhill considerably. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The management got a twenty-two year old that doesn't know how to do anything. She doesn't know how to cook, and she really doesn't know how to manage money. They can improve on management, they need help, they got rid of people that knew what they were doing. They started getting these people that didn't know what they were doing. They only have one person today to do the cleaning, the cooking, to do everything. As far as management goes, I will give them a one. They have a group of ladies that come in and give us bingo once a month."
