"I visited Oakwood Village, but they did not have any openings at that time. It was a smaller group of my mom’s type of care. They had a smaller facility for that. I thought they were more of independent living there, but they had a little section for assisted living. The cafeteria was smaller and their activities rooms and stuffs were small, but they had activities also. It wasn’t as flushed, but they seemed very friendly and competent to do the type of care she needed, so I would have felt comfortable with that. I saw a room where they do drawing, painting, and coloring. "
