They have done good at sending caregivers. I would like them to send the same caregivers more often.

Thank you for your feedback. We can't look at your account because of your anonymity. We work to get routine caregivers partnering in the home for alternating shifts.
Things that would affect the number of caregivers in the home include
1) How rapidly the case needed to start--for example when someone comes in crisis needing a lot of care immediately, they meet more caregivers in the first week.
2) Additionally, if someone keeps changing their shift times, it is almost impossible to keep giving them the same caregivers.
3) The selectiveness of the client (some people have 0 caregivers on their "do no send" list and others have 6+ if they are very selective).
4) If the client is not liked by the caregivers, they can reject the client the same way a client can ask to have them NOT return.
5) If boisterous loud jumping pets or are in the home, caregivers tend to reject the shifts (We have loud big dogs in our home so we're not judging it--but it helps to have them in the back yard during the shift or in the garage. We do, however have caregivers who LOVE animals--as you can imagine, they are VERY popular caregivers in high demand and likely unavailable quickly--it takes time to get them.
We'd assume you have a small team now selected as that is our policy and that is the safest way of providing care as well as diversifying the reports of the caregivers to our nurses!

I like their flexibility with scheduling. I like that it's been the same caregiver each week since they've been helping out. The caregiver and my wife have gotten along really well.

They are very responsive. We have had some caregivers that are better than others. It takes away a little bit of the stress because we have a steady caregiver that comes, and she has connected quite well with my mother. We trust her.

They put together a pretty comprehensive care plan, and sometimes the caregiver will go above and beyond that to help. They usually have a pretty positive outlook, and they spend time with the client.

They need to screen the caregivers better. Some of the caregivers would come late and be on their phone. They did not do well. My current caregiver is on time and easy to relate to, and is good at whatever he does. He does anything I need within the guidelines.

Franklin thank you for your review. Sometimes caregivers have trouble finding new family homes. For that reason its in our contract to allow a 5 minute start window.
We also track who's late and keep our clients informed how far out they are.
I hear you though! We've instituted a $ reward plan honors those who are on time.

They've been prompt and the caregiver my mother had, she quit, but she was attentive helpful, pleasant, and she got along well with my mother. It's helped me not to have to take her everywhere.

That is so unlike us, I did investigate and have corrected the problem and credited your account for the shift despite finding a fill in caregiver who arrived within a half hour of the issue. It allows me to go and work in the office. Some of the caregivers do vacuum, laundry, and more. Others will just sit there. It depends on the personalities of the caregivers. A couple have been amazing, and my wife loves them, but then if they have to move on, it is a struggle to find good people. The scheduling has been terrible in the last six months as well.

Visiting Angels of Princess Anne is very good. It's my best friend that they're caring for. The people that come out always look so nice. They're very courteous and clean. They enable my best friend to get out and about for errands. They even took her to lunch the other day because she was meeting me for lunch, so they were able to bring her. They help with bathing, and she always looks so nice. She has a difficult time getting around, so they assist her in and out of the shower making sure that she's safe. Afterwards, she is always dressed to the nines. She's a very sharp dresser. They always make sure she looks wonderful like she always has. They were highly recommended. It's wonderful that they include her daughter in on the billing. They send a copy to her daughter, which is a very nice service. It's very prompt. I don't think she's ever had any problems with their scheduling. They're very accessible and very reachable. They're safe, comforting, and professional. It enables family members to have quality care with their loved ones.

They could have done better with providing care, they needed training. They don't have people that want to come over and take care of my wife.

Cecil I'm so sorry you are experiencing the shortage of enough caregivers in the workforce. The location of your home made the case extremely difficult to staff and we were upfront with you about that as soon as we knew it. No other agencies are staffing your area because of it.
Our caregivers can reject clients the same way our clients can decide against caregivers. We gave out shift bonuses to help you that were so high we paid into your care as well the entire length of time we tried to help you. It was an expensive lesson. I'm glad you took our advice and sought a great residential care setting.
You are a legend in my mind to model in my own life for devotion to my spouse.
