We used the service for our father. The people who came were very kind, but were of minimal help. Any meaningful ways of helping came with a price tag that was unaffordable. Clearly the service was a profit making effort, not an organization committed to the values and mission of the founding purpose. Avoid the organization at all cost.

Mom has been using Carilion Homecare for probably a month now. She had used them before. Right now, they're taking care of her again. They come in and basically do everything that the hospital does for my mother. Mom is good to go and actually is getting better. They come in when she needs them the most. They usually come in the morning time for two hours. They help her get out of bed, get her to the bathroom if needed, but right now, she mainly is just sticking with physical therapy. They're wonderful especially the nurse. She makes my mom laugh. If she can make my mother laugh, she's doing a pretty good job. Regarding the management, they know my mom well; they're pretty easy to deal with.
