I liked that they were very communicative, they told me what was going on and when someone was going to get there. They originally sent Gloria to the wrong hospital, so she got her a couple of hours after she was expected to be there, but other than that one little blip, everything was great.

This is the second time I've used them. Most of the care partners are very good especially this time around When I used them in April other than one out of probably 6 out of 7 care partners I would rate as 0. This time around I've gotten some pretty great care partners. BUT THAT WHERE IT ENDS. THE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE OFFICE AND THE PATIENT, THE SCHEDULER AND THE OFFICE IF HORRIBLE. I RECEIVED A SCHEDULE AND TOTALLY UNABLE TO PRINT. EVEN HAD AN IT PERSON COME OVER AND TRY EVERY THING OUT THERE. NO LUCK! THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF DEALING WITH. MOST OF THE TIME CAN'T GET THE SAME PERSON TWICE ALL THEY WANT IS THEIR $$$$$$. CAN'T EVEN GET THAT SET UP CORRECTLY. IM SURE THERE ARE OTHER COMPANIES OUT THEIR WHICH I INTENT TO RESEARCH. I had kidney failure and was on dialysis for a couple of months. I can't hold a bottle of shampoo or scrub my back, and I'm also scared of slipping in my tub. I couldn't shower from January up until they came. They give me a weekly shower and shampoo, and that's important to me. I feel like a new person, and I feel grateful for that. If I could get some of my issues met and dealt with. We are still setting things up. I've had a different person every week to help me shower, and it's a stranger to come into my bathroom and see me naked. I've had one person who was on her phone the whole time and went so slow that she didn't do everything on time. One person didn't know she had to sweep before they're mopping. I need someone who is a little bit more consistent. I had one person who came twice and she was fantastic.

It makes my daily life much easier. It makes it simpler and I feel comfortable. They also all need to have ID cards. If someone new shows up we don't have a clue who they are. The first person who showed up here stole $300 from me and my wife. She was here all day and left before we realized that the money was stolen. We got the money back from the owner, he sent us a check. If you don't have an ID we don't know that we can trust them. I would recommend them but I would like to know who is coming the week before though. We never know who is coming. I know there are changes in people's schedules but I can never be positive that they will show up.

We have certified nursing assistants who are coming every day to provide care for my husband, and that's with Capital City Nurses. We've been fortunate in that the day care providers we've had have been outstanding. We've had consistent quality day providers. We initially had night providers, but we were not equally impressed with them. We were not as happy with the nighttime people who came. Capital City Nurses are providing daily care. We've been appropriately billed. The only issue we had (and we were told they were known for their good communication skills) is that we initially had some difficulty with communication with schedulers. My husband has gotten very good care. The only issue initially, until we got things worked out, was that we had some communication scheduling issues with them.

I am down to a few days a week, and soon will be down to even less. Some of the aides don't follow instructions very well. I go early to a Bible study on Tuesday mornings and she always comes thirty minutes earlier to accommodate our need. She is careful with our drugs so that they are always ready for us to take in the morning. She checks everything to be sure that we do things correctly. She does the laundry and drives us places. Our caregiver is always on time and has a whole process she follows every day, that we are looking for.
