Accolade Hospice has taken care of my Father & currently taking care of my Mother. They have been 'ABOVE & BEYOND' my family's expectations. The case manager was inconsistent in her responsiveness to questions. She was defensive and hostile in response to questions about treatment. After the patient passed there was no contact or follow up care and phone calls were not returned. There seem to be no plan in place to aid the family when the patient passed. The minister called an hour after the patient passed and said "Do you need me?" The staff seemed to expect the family to tell them what to do-- not the compassion you would expect of hospice.
