I am using Amedisys Hospice Care for my wife. The service has been great. The scheduling leaves much as we desired. The biggest complaint that I would have is consistency in the care of people, as far as being on a reliable schedule. We have our own schedule. I have doctors, and I'm under a doctor's care in a hospice, but my wife can't be left alone, and we have to make sure there's coverage. So, my biggest complaint with Amedisys right now is the reliability of their scheduling. Other than that, they've been wonderful in providing the benefits that they have to offer. We have no complaints about that. And the people that we have been dealing with from them have been really good. We're getting an RN visit once weekly, we get two aides with bathing, and they help us with prescriptions, getting prescriptions for us. They also provided us with a number of equipment like walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs, and diapers. I think they've been good, and they were very prompt. When they ask if we need anything, we tell them, and within the day, we get it. So, they've been good about that.

I've hired Amedisys Hospice Care for my mom. Everything about them is wonderful. They're attentive. They get all your equipment to you on time, and they get your medicines refilled on time. They come to visit my mom. They even came out right before the storm and put a catheter in her. They are like Johnny-on-the-spot for helping. They have a chaplain that comes and a social worker comes. They're very supportive and very good to the families of the patients. I would recommend them to anybody. The scheduling is awesome. I don't know too much about their billing because my mom is covered by that with her TRICARE. My dad was retired military, so they pay 100%, so she doesn't have to pay anything out of pocket for hospice.

Amedisys Hospice Care Greenville travelled a ways to see us. They offer everything that hospice offers because they are covered by Medicare, so we have no cost. So we have any equipment we need. We have services such as nurse, aides, social worker, chaplain, everything. The caregivers were excellent, and I would highly recommend them. Their scheduling is also excellent. I thought that they seemed very caring and professional; other people should know about them.

We are forever grateful for the loving care the staff of Amedisys gave our mother. Not only did they take care of mama, but was there for my sister and me.
