I have been using Home Care Assistance-Philadelphia since May of this year (2021) to provide some relief for me (I am home caring for my wife who has Alzheimer's Disease). The aide who was selected, Latoya, is wonderful, a true gem. Currently I have Latoya in the home 4 days a week and I can see that with time and the progression of this disease that more time will be needed. The aide give me a more secure feeling and I am not trapped in my own house when she is tending to my wife's needs. I have been able to reach management when needed and they are responsive in returning telephone or email messages. I would heartedly endorse this company.

This place is the worst and I will be moving to another company. If they call or you use them you better run and use another company. Most of the caregiver are good its the mgnt that is terrible and this makes everything terrible!

The caregiver I have is very helpful and is good to talk to. The services help me with my laundry and meal preparation.

I like the people who run the branch that I use. They are very nice and polite. When they come they are helpful. It takes a burden off of me.

They could train the caregivers better. It's a necessary evil. They could pay more attention to what I have to say.

I feel comfortable with the caretaker taking care of my mother. It gives me time to run around and do errands without me having to worry about her.

I would definitely use them again but it did get a little expensive. If I ever travel again I will call them. I talk about how amazing they are to everyone. I was able to leave with peace of mind.

I like the fact that they always have someone available. In a pinch, they got somebody right away. They were on it right away. I would like the help to do a little bit more. They could make sure they have the proper training to get my loved one in and out of the shower. Some of them didn't seem like they did. I don't want them to do housework. I want them to be more hands-on to get my loved one to do more. The aides should have assisted more with the physical therapy that my loved one received by doing it more consistently.

They're reliable, with one exception. She gets 24/7 coverage, and they have a regular group of employees here. The quality of some of the night people is not that great, but it's not unsatisfactory.

I like the personal touch. I like that they come out and get to know who the patient is and that the management gets to know them. It seems that they really care about the services provided to the family member. One of his concerns is that the house is getting to be too much for him. It makes it easier for him to stay in the house.

Home Care Assistance is friendly and does an excellent job at what they do. They are worth every penny that is spent toward their loved ones. The services of Home Care Assistance were there when I needed them. They were always on call.
