Just having an aide that comes in that I am comfortable with gives me peace of mind. They are good but they can be a bit expensive. They are accommodating.

I am not always really pleased with Visiting Angels. They didn’t always have stable care. They lose a lot of their girls so care is provided by different people all the time. Once in a while for a short stretched you’ll get the same people coming but a lot of times they pull out and you’re getting people that you don’t know, that is our only issue. That’s really hard for my mom to get used to. That’s my biggest problem with them at this point. We seem to have girls, they call out a lot. Sometimes they don’t even have somebody to cover, so that’s an issue. They’ve been new employees have been tuned up and they don’t even have coverage for you. We have about 5 people in 4 hours -- which is fine -- but it’s just when there was girls, they seemed like they’re there for a little bit; they don’t stay. A lot of times the employees that they hire are not really reliable, so that’s difficult. If the people are here, they do a fairly nice job. I have had people that have been new and have fallen asleep when they come here. It just depends on the person, and I don’t know if it’s the same with every agency.
