Very unhappy with skilled nursing care provided by Ohio Living Hospice. My father is a patient. In April they would not provide test strips for possible bladder infection, we had to buy our own which tested positive for nitrites and leukocytes. A couple months later he now has symptoms of another infection with frequency, urgency, very dark urine. The nurse refused to take a urine sample when she visited, merely instructed my mother to increase his fluids. He now has blood in his urine, frequency, and urgency. They also refuse to provide positioning wedges for a bedridden man with sacral ulcers. This company is a joke.

When my Grandpa was sick, Ohio Living Hospice was there all along the way to offer support not only to my Grandfather but, our family. I'm so grateful they were there to help us through a difficult time. The nurse and chaplain were both supportive and able to come be with us when we needed them the most. We appreciate you and thank you for your love and support!

Ohio Living provided amazing care, compassion and services during my mothers illness and subsequent transition in 2019. The employees are responsive, well informed and were like family to us. You never know what experiences life will bring you.. but it was very heartwarming to know that we didn't have to travel this journey alone. Thank you, Ohio Living!

We're using Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice-Greater Toledo for my husband. I would recommend them. They have saved my life. There has not been one single person from Ohio Living that has come to my home that has not been caring and loving, not just for the condition of my husband, but also for my welfare as well. They have been wonderful. They even have provided a volunteer that would come and stay with my husband, so that I could have a couple of hours to go shopping, go for a walk, just have some time to myself. They're fantastic and the most loving, caring people I have ever met in my life. I was very reluctant to get hospice because like a lot of people, I thought you only got hospice assistance when the person was dying, but that turned out to be not so and it wasn't my choice, it was my doctor who recommended it. I just lucked out that I got such a fantastic company to help me because they have gone above and beyond the call of duty. The nurse that comes in to help take care of my husband has become part of my family. I think I have gotten some lifelong friends with these people because they have been so wonderful. The service doesn't cost me anything because my husband does qualify for the service. It was our wedding anniversary, and they came over with balloons and cake. This is not what I expected from a hospice. The same thing when it was my husband's birthday, they came over, and they brought us dinner from one of our favorite restaurants because they know that he can't go out. They have home health care. Because my husband is incontinent, they come in and shower him every day, get him dressed, and help me with feeding him. He's still mobile, but very shaky. People should call Ohio Living.
