Americare employees are wonderful. My stepmother, Mother, and Step Sister have all been clients of Americare. Not Only have all of us been satisfied with the care provided, but also with the care of outsorced employees. Therapy was outsourced to a company called Ultracare. Communication within the office was not very reliable. The Nurse, Aide, and therapists were all aware of this. Each gave me their phone number to contact them with any problems. Throughout the years I was involved with Americare, I used these numbers frequently. The staff was always professional, friendly, and very caring. Whenever I had a situation, they would make it easier on me. With half of my family in terminal status, I was easily overwhelmed. The nurse and therapists were always avilable to talk with me, and to provide tips to make the final days easier on my family and I. After comparing terminal care with Hospice, and with Americare I realized that I would not accept Hospice care for myself or anyone else who is close to me. Americare also helped me to prepare myself for the final days, Whenever I called with questions, the nurse would pay a visit to check on my family members. Hospice when we had been involved with them, were not available to visit when needed. They lsft the care of our family member to my elderly stepmother and I. I was not pleased at all with their service, the nurse was friendly but cold. Americare staff was fast, friendly, and easily became close to us.
