Facility was terrible. Instead of allowing you to focus solely on your loved one; Debbie, Crystal (nurse aide), Jennifer, and Matt (manager) focused on provoking family members of patients. It was disheartening to witness, especially seeing how family is there as their loved one is in the process of transitioning. They won’t provide comfort food for the patient, make promises they cannot keep, and create a hostile environment. I believe they dislike when family advocates for their loved one, so instead of being empathetic, you’ll be greeted with an ego war. Avoid this facility if you want a peaceful experience while grieving. Unfortunately, the bad apples within the staff outweigh the good.

Aides were terrific. Nurse Jen and Leslie as well. Entire experience there was a nightmare. Medicating of dying mother was not according to treatment plan. We were never given answers to any questions asked in regards to medicating, process, dying process or anything related to my mothers status at any given moment. Almost had to have funeral with no remains in urn. Were too busy to sign death certificate. 7 days isn't long enough? Called for grief counseling 5 days after passing. Horrible horrible facility for your loved one. If you are not there 24/7, question loved ones care.

Hill Family

On a Saturday night our family had to make a decision that we thought we were ready to make. We had our mother sent to hospice here in Fairlawn. We cannot express how wonderful the whole staff was to my mother as well as us. My mother did not pass until Thursday and we never left the facility. EVERYONE in every position that we came in contact with asked if there was anything they could do for us. They were the sweetest and most caring group of people that I have ever been around. They deserve way more than just 5 stars. They were worth a million! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The Gloria Hill Family

The last few days of my mom's life were spent here with all of her family around her. I have to explain that this included a very large crowd as the family consisted of 16 children with at least 6 of the surviving children there with their children and some of them with their children and us, the six children of my mom .....get the picture? They provided us with sleeping arrangements, food, television and most of all unbelievable caring, comfort, knowledge and when needed humor too. We will always feel indebted to the nurses, doctors and staff of this facility. Quite a few years have passed since my experience with the hospice, but I feel the need to say thank you again. Thank you so much for everything you all did in your own ways to make the difference in this most important moment in our lives.
