If we came up with a problem that was difficult for the caregiver to handle, they would send someone out to help. I did not feel like I was by myself. I could not have done this by myself; they were a great help. They would help him get moved around.

I like that they have been very communicative. If something is different, they will call you, and they will answer your questions. It gives more time and peace on my end, without feeling like I have to be there every minute of the day. It's a little reprieve for the family.

They can improve on coordination of everything. If something happens, write it down. I'm not physically in the same place, so someone is there to help when we are not able to.

We depended on them heavily. We couldn't have done it without them. They were communicative, receptive to criticism, and easy to work with. I liked Blake; if I called the online number, it went straight to him.

We used BrightStar Care of Greenville for about six months. First, it was just a few days at a time, and then it was three or four days at a time. I couldn't leave my husband alone. I think they were having a few issues at the time getting people. 98% of the people they sent were wonderful. There were times when we got in a tight end, someone didn't show up or that kind of thing, but they were always there. They always called. My husband had trouble with mobility getting around, so they were always attentive to get him to the bathroom and back to bed safely. They did give him dinner or lunch if I wasn't there. They basically just kept him company. They did engage with him. It's not like one sat in one room and the other wasn't and my husband was not an easy patient, but the people they sent that stayed consistently were fabulous. They were wonderful. Someone from BrightStar Care would check his vitals and take his blood sugar occasionally.

Brightstar Care of Greenville has been a great addition to our family. Recently our mother took a turn for the worse and they were there for us to provide additional resources beyond their services to ensure she was taken care of. Hats off to this group!
