My mom is now in University Hospice-Addeo Hospice Residence. It is a facility for end-of-life care. It's excellent. Their staff are little angels. The facility itself is very private and immaculately clean. They have one aide and one nurse per patient. There's only eight patients in the whole facility, so they're very attentive. I have no complaints whatsoever. They give excellent care there. Everybody has a private room. They all have a nice view. It's very clean and spacious. They allow you to bring in some of your own stuff to make it feel homey.

The Addeo Hospice Residence has been amazing. They're caring, nurturing, my mom is always clean, always smells good and always dressed appropriately. They try to feed her even if she doesn't eat too much. They're wonderful, attentive, and very kind. It's beautiful; it's a house so it looked very much like someone's home on the outside, which is very cozy. And on the inside, it's a really nice design. Everyone has privacy. They have a view of the woods which is nice, it's very sunny. It's painted, wallpapered, the flooring is lovely and it's just impeccably clean. My mom has community Medicaid and that's what pays for it, she also has insurance.

My mother spent her last days at Addeo Hospice Residence at Staten Island University Hospital. They were so wonderful. They made sure she was comfortable, and they came every couple of hours to turn her. They would come in to see if I needed anything. They changed her and washed her. It's a house with eight rooms to accommodate people, and they were pretty big rooms with a private bathroom and a beautiful view. It was clean, and it was worth the money.
