A caregiver from this agency was sent to take care of my 95+ year old great aunt for 2 months. After several weeks, during our visits, we started to notice the caregiver was constantly yelling at my aunt, the TV, would not help her walk to the table for meals. After more frequent visits and asking my aunt many questions we discovered the caregiver would limit help she provided when the 2 were alone including excessively delayed diaper changes day/night, she told my aunt “you don’t need to be changed, you have a diaper” The caregiver was so bad that my aunt was scared to speak up, as she was fearful of physical retaliation. The caregiver also took advantage and had asked services to purchase gourmet meals for herself, claiming it was a dietary restriction. The fact this caregiver manipulated everyone and created a hostile environment is completely unacceptable and what is worst is the management was dismissive of our concerns, defensive of their employee, and accusatory of us! DO NOT SUBJECT YOUR LOVED ONES TO ANYONE WHO IS AFFILIATED WITH THIS BUSINESS. They should all be ashamed of themselves. Needless to say we’ve filed compliant with the state and have hired an attorney for elder abuse. Do yourselves a favor and STAY AWAY.

My mother used Executive Home Care of Toms River. They're wonderful. We had a reasonably good relationship with our caregiver. We didn't have any serious troubles, but if we had to do it over again we would've gotten someone who was a little more skilled in nursing.
