My husband had home wound care provided. Excellent caring personnel. He required Hospice and was treated with kindness, respect and professional. Everything was explained to the family. After he passed, we were treated with kindness. Thank you to everyone.

I came to Vegas to see my 84 yr old brother who was sounding more and more ill over the phone but had no answers for me cause he said he couldnt get the doctors to call him back. Arriving , I was at a loss because those doctors , one never responded and the other tried to set back an already made appointment . After praying I called Comfort Hospice Care that I found online and they called me back in 5 minutes. Melissa was there the next morning and was able to get him set up on Hospice. Long story short my brother got to spend his remaining days at home with Melissa and Joann caring for him always on call and available to talk to me since I was back home and his wife was unable to care for him, It was a miracle of angels and I am so thankful for their support and care and highly recommend them to anyone in Vegas Henderson

Make sure before you discharge your loved one into Comfort's care that they will actually provide service when discharge occurs. Here is our story: I was so excited to begin with Comfort Hospice. Of all the hospice services that we interviewed, they were so great at communication. We had frequent discussions with the Case Manager, Admissions, and Social Worker. Everything was in place for my Dad's discharge. Although we were nervous, we were comforted with the thought that we would have support during this transition. When we arrived home the nurse was waiting for us. Whew! Not a miss in service, right? Wrong. She came in and spoke with Dad. He responded very well - after all, he was excited and happy to be home. So for him, this was one of his 'good' days. (Anyone who is a caregiver of a person with dementia will understand 'good days'.) Unfortunately, the nurse thought he was in too good of shape. She informed us that he did not qualify for their service. She tried to sell this off as a good thing but at the end of the day, it meant Dad had no food and we had no support. Our story ended well because a caring Social Worker at the rehab center took responsibility for finding us an alternate hospice provider and we're very happy. Don't let this happen to you. In addition to regular interview questions, ensure the provider you choose will not abandon you on what may be one of the most stressful days of your life.

Comfort Hospice Care was provided by our doctor for mom. She has an RN coming every week. The caregivers were excellent, and everyone was very nice; we didn’t meet anyone that we didn’t like. No problems with scheduling and billing.

My mother was a patient of the hospice during the final weeks of her life. Everyone was wonderful especially our CNA Jackie, RN Polly and Monique and Lisa at the office. I am grateful to the hospice for the invaluable help and moral support they were able to provide me and my mom. The hospice is very responsive and on top of any issues or needs that arise for the patient.

My mother has been a patient with Comfort Hospice for quite awhile and they work as hard today as they did when I signed with them. I tried two different hospice company's before Comfort and before I signed they'd tell me all the great people and programs they had and after I signed their contracts, I was lucky if I'd see the nurse once in awhile. With Comfort I know mom's being seen because the Comfort workers communicate with our group home staff and together they work as one. Their nurses see mom at least once a week but she's needed some extra care and her nurses stop by to check on her. Their aid who helps mom bath has had a heck of a time with mom yet she never complains. Moms sickness has made her nasty yet the aids and the nurses never complain. Comforts Chaplin visits mom almost weekly and he calls me after every time not only to let me know how moms doing but to let me know he's there for our family should we ever want to see or talk with him. He brings his guitar and sings songs and prays with mom. I've called their main office about six times and whomever answers the phone already knows all about mom before I finish saying her name. Their manager has made himself available to me from the beginning but with their hardworking caring staff, I get the answers I'm looking for within minutes of calling. If you need hospice services or are unhappy with your loved ones care, give them a call. They do all the work and you will rest easy like I do. John M.
