My mother-in-law is doing fine with Visiting Angels at this time. Her husband was in their care before he passed away. They are very caring, seem knowledgeable about her needs, and take really good care of her. They are quick to let us know if there is any problem since we travel a lot. They’ve done a wonderful job with my mother-in-law.

I contacted Visiting Angels because we were looking for options in caring for my mom. Kristen came in and explained their services. It was like everyone's light switched from off to on. Everything seemed to be great especially when she answered our questions. She was very warm and caring. She wasn't selling anything. Most of all, everything came very strongly. We knew right away that Visiting Angels was the answer even before Kristen finished explaining. Consequently, there were two people after two hours who provided care round-the-clock. They were both wonderful and we appreciated them so much. They exceeded our expectations. They were not obtrusive. The caregivers took good care of my mom and her husband. The big plus was when my mom passed away while her husband was holding her hand, the caregiver documented it all. She wrote it all down and was beautifully done. We wouldn't have known how my mother passed if she didn't do it. We read that story repeatedly and we were very thankful for that. I couldn't say enough positive things about this agency.

Somebody at work brought in a newspaper clipping about Visiting Angels. I knew somebody who was a part of the Visiting Angel’s team so I thought I could trust them. At the same time, my mother went downhill and we needed to get an agency so that’s how we got connected to them. They came to our house, talked to us, and that’s how we started. We went through several caregivers. My mother didn’t like some of them, and one got pregnant and left but they were very nice to try somebody else. Then we found two. Famata stayed with us the longest and has a personal relationship with Mom. She takes Mom to dialysis on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. She is like Mom’s PA and agrees to stay for a while if I can’t get out of work on time. That is really helpful to me and it takes some pressure off. That’s what I appreciate about her. On the other hand, Erica came when mom went downhill so she didn’t know the real Mom. However, she is VERY nice. She is more of my worker bee. She’s here on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. She’ll come in and maintain the house like mop the floor and do the laundry. Mom’s Dementia got worse and worse. She’s very kind and good, just different. They kind of balance each other out. One thing that turned me off was when they sent a nurse and I was charged $75. I wasn’t told upfront about it and she didn’t do anything even take her blood pressure. She just asked questions that we could have done over the phone. I just paid her but I don’t want her to come again. We already have a nurse practitioner and other medical professionals who come to the house. That’s the only complaint I have.

We Visiting Angels through the hospital my mom was in. My mother is in a senior citizen home and they come in 6 hours a day. They drive her to where she needs to be driven. They take her on walks, grocery shopping, and are companions to her. They are fabulous! My mother loves them. She's got 3 different women that come and my mother loves every one of them. She's been with them for about a year and a half. They're very flexible, very amenable to anything that we need to change in their schedule. Whenever we need something extra, they are always available to do whatever we need.

Visiting Angels have provided excellent care in taking care of my parents, my mother especially, who has Alzheimer's. We're up to using 12 hours a day of care from them. They do everything from meal preparation to bathing to restroom care to making sure her medication is given. They also help with companionship, conversation, and exercise. A couple of the people there have been exceptional. Chris, the director we've been dealing with, is wonderful. A couple of the angels have been fabulous. Barb and Roxanne have been amazing! We're extremely happy with their services.

Visiting Angels was excellent. We just appreciated them. They were right there for mom all the time. Jessica was one of her caregivers. She helped her in the wheelchair and got her outside when she didn't think she could do anything. She took her over to our church which is next door and to the library which mom ran for 35 years. That was a really special day for mom. The caregivers were easy to get along with and they met her needs. They were friendly and did the best they could. We were pleased with Carolyn and the scheduling as well.

Visiting Angels was recommended to us. Carolyn was just so nice and called us right back. She tried very hard to do was she thought would work for us. She went quite a few times to our home every time she wanted us to get used to a caregiver that we could work with the best. We thought that my husband had 2-3 months more to live but we only had him 5 days. He died earlier than we thought. Carolyn had brought several people in because that was our first week. They do 24/7 but have 5 hours rest time in between. They were still accessible for me to wake them if I needed help. I don't think they ever slept sound. They always were available for me. We only had them 5 days. I think that with the experience, they were always available. My favorite was Abdul as one of the caregivers. He was really good. I liked him.

Visiting angels was recommended to us by our clinic. We had two caregivers. They were both excellent. They do a lot of stuff with my wife like scrabble and shopping. They pretty much did everything. Their care for her was excellent. They were both very upbeat and cheerful. They have a really positive attitude. We had them for a year and a half.
