I had engaged LifeSprk to provide Home Healthcare Aides (HHA) for my elderly parents from April 2019 into early December 2019. The staff's ability varied from HHA to HHA which is to be expected but a few had to be replaced due to laziness or lack of training. There are a few outstanding HHA's in their employ but dependability was an issue for most of the duration they were employed. There were multiple occasions where and aid would call off and a replacement HHA would not be on site for several hours leaving my parents unattended or requiring a family member to leave work to watch them. Over the last 6 weeks of services the staff was late 34% of the time. They say that all shifts are guaranteed but this is nothing more than lip service. Consistency is another issue. Over the last 19 shifts they sent 12 different HHA's, which is unacceptable for memory patient care. Based on my experience with their management. this is where LifeSprk's problems originate. A long lone of hollow promises and apologies, no real change or solution. In fairness, the Medicare services side of LifeSprk is a polar opposite. Well run and organized. Staff is attentive and caring. As for the Home Healthcare side of LifeSprk, I would not let then watch my dog.
