My caregiver from Prairie River Home Care Inc is a very fine gentleman and he relates to people very well. He's very efficient and helpful, and things are working fine. I think of him like a military college graduate. He's just that crisp and polite. I've only seen him twice because we started only two weeks ago. Today, the agency sent somebody just to check on my medicines because my caregiver wasn't able to come to work. The agency is administratively excellent.

Well, we've only had two women from Prairie Home. We just love one, and she likes us just fine, too. She was better than I could ever even hope to be. She was a lovely person. But the distance that we live from Mankato is 30 miles for her, so she just didn't want to come that far. She had other reasons that I don't know. But she was a person who had to keep busy every minute. And that was fine. She didn't mind doing things for me. Whereas, the one I have now, she'd rather just spend time with me doing all the talking. So I have to be a little bit more direct with her. But she's a very positive and cheerful person. She said she likes being here. She likes the dogs. I was disappointed when we had a physical therapist coming. My husband had fallen almost a year ago. The first fall he had. The physical therapist came out and did an assessment and required him to do necessary exercises. She came back twice, and then it was totally left up to me to do everything. I was hoping at least twice a week a home health person would come and do that and take him for a walk.
