Horrible terrible experience. No records were kept, no communication between providers. One of our nurses went and took a nap while she was on her shift. My father was uncomfortable and in terrible pain and nobody would give him medication. STAY AWAY.

I have been receiving care for about a year and am very happy with Legacy. Staff are friendly and helpful and arrive on time. Services are professional and performed by caring people.

Better shop around

When you call Legacy, for in home hospice care, you will listen to the most professional, articulate sales person great at convincing you they are superior to other agencies. When you sign a contract, they collect a percentage of a month's fee; not before they round it up a few thousand dollars. What??? No. Do not be fooled!! Once you sign up you will be shocked at how much you have to manage the continuous rotating nurses yourself. For example, there is no log or record of issues/instructions, etc for a nurse to jot to keep the next nurse advised of special instructions, changes, when meds were given, etc. I had to go out at midnight and find a book to start that documentation. If you call with concerns, you will not get a call back from the Operations Manager. Also, you will quickly realize that they pull warm bodies from wherever they can whether they are adequately trained or not. Our first nurse had not slept for 48 hours and was asked to do a shift with us. One nurse asked me to stay so she could get something to eat. Another asked for coffee so she could stay awake. Most did their schoolwork at night and not even in my loved ones room for constant "eyes on service". It makes me sick to think what we paid for this sub-par service. Then, once you're done with the service, they don't automatically reconcile the bill and return your unused deposit; you have to initiate that! Please research hospice nursing care thoroughly and avoid this agency.

Frustrated daughter beyond belief

This care provider offer absolutely no consistency with care providers! They have been nothing but frustration on my part. The care providers themselves that have come in take care of my father are very kind, it's just the management/scheduling that is a very big problem.

Legacy Home Care's caregiver heats food up as well as scrambled eggs and toast. They do light housekeeping, the laundry and fold it and put it away, and clean up the bathrooms. Their primary job is to help my husband get dressed and started off for the day. We get someone every day, seven days a week from 7:00 to 12:00, and it's been about a month. Legacy is very good at finding the right people for the circumstance. We have one young lady who comes five days a week, and a different lady who comes on the weekends, and a third one who comes on Monday evenings, and they've been consistent, which I really appreciate since I don't have to reorient every five minutes.

My mom suffered from alzheimers 10 years and spend 2+ years at Legacy. We did experience 9th we large facilities but the staff and owners at legacy went above and beyond to not only give my mom exceptional care but also provided timely communication and updates to the family. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
