We got Excellacare Home Health Care for my mom. They're great, the staff and everything is really good. The girl that I got, she's been really good, but my mom has turned for the worse and she's got Alzheimer's. We have used them since the beginning of last year. They do a 9-hour shift, 5 days a week. They come in and make sure my mom gets her breakfast, lunch, and they're assisting her to the bathroom. I have a couple of good caregivers, but the one I have right now is older, she needs to retire, because she won't learn anything new. The other ones are taking courses in Alzheimer's and doing videos, like schooling videos

We're using Excellacare Skilled Services for my mom. She has a physical therapist coming in now because the occupational therapist and the nurse had discharged her already. The nurse checks her blood because my mom was taking warfarin. The occupational therapist watchs her everyday activity. They have the physical therapist come out to give her exercise. They are very nice.

I think that Excella Care is an excellent choice for someone who is looking for a Home Care Agency to take care of their friend or family member that is living independently and need some assistance with their ADL'S. Excella Care is primarily for someone that prefers to live independently and need access to outside supportive care and assistance when needed. While there, I witnessed that they offer assistance with personal care, bathing, grooming, dressing, undressing, in addition to their home care providers' help in meal preparation, house keeping, shopping, doctor appointments. In general, I would give Excella Care Home Care Agency a five stars rating for their supportive services that can be arranged for any amounts of times that is needed and including 24/7 or on a respite or temporary time basis. They also provide a variety of other services to fit the individuals care plan that is assessed by their team of skilled professional Nurses. Their team of skilled professional home care providers; provide their residents with excellent in home patient care.
