They have been a great problem solver for the daily needs of making sure that she has eaten, she is well, her oxygen machine is working, etc. They have been the difference between nursing care and her being able to stay with independent living.

I’m a stay at home mom with two little kids and also taking care of my disabled mom. I receive help for my mom from an in-home caregiver 3 days a week. Our caregiver Elida has been with us for 2.5 years and she is absolutely amazing. I don’t know where I would be without her. She is more than just a caregiver, she is family. She helps with dishes, laundry, bathing, cleaning, companionship, outings, etc. My kids adore her, my mother adores her and my husband and I adore her. I don’t have to have a lot of interaction with the agency because Elida is so efficient that she is typically on top of everything. When I do interact with the agency, it’s always pleasant.

Right at Home provides exemplary and caring care for my parents, I full trust the caregivers and nurses. They individualize whatever care we need, day or night at arrive promptly for their shifts. The caregivers treat my parents, as if they were their own family member. When my friend had a family emergency, I needed transportation and assistance with a surgical procedure on short notice. Right At Home responded quickly and a beautiful young woman, J. R., arrived at my home. She drove me to the surgery center and stayed with me during and after the procedure. She was so attentive. Her sense of humor kept me calm and relaxed. If I need services in the future, I will ask if she is available.

My mom has been receiving services for the past 2 months and we realize we should have had home care in place earlier. Right at Home has been able to provide my mom with the extra support with bathing and errands. She is able to stay in her home when we thought she would have to move. Her caregiver Rachel has been wonderful and she always makes sure she communicates with me if mom is in need of anything. I like having access to moms schedule through their family portal system. The office has been great to work with and it was easy to line her services up. I would highly recommend Right at Home.

I called Right at Home because I was in a bind. I had to go out of town in the next 2 weeks and my father is NOT a fan of caregivers. Right at Home was able to jump right in and assure me that they would be able to handle my situation and they did. The caregivers were well received by my dad and very capable to his many needs. They were able to keep him right on his routine which is very important to him. God bless them one of the ladies that had stayed with my dad even cleaned out the inside of my microwave :). I will be using Right at Home for all my future needs.

My wife is a client of Right at Home. The caregiver is really excellent. She helps her get out of bed in the morning, get dressed, and eat. She said she would come back when the doctor got here at noon, so she could observe my wife to better help the doctor treat her, and she did a great job. When she left, the doctor said, "That girl is really good." Nicki comes every morning except on her day off. My wife can't get out of bed yet on her own. She brushes her teeth, she bathes her, changes her, and cleans her up. My wife is very anxious about everything and her leg is extremely painful because it gets a charley horse. You can't touch it without her screaming. That's how sensitive my wife is and yet Nicki is able to come in, calm her down, soothe her, and do what's necessary to get her cleaned up and to get her dressed. She has to get her out of bed into the wheelchair. She brings her out to the table in the morning. We eat breakfast and then she puts her in a recliner. On top of that, she's observant to everything that's done. She's like one of our own relatives. She's actually called the nurse once or twice and said, "You ought to take a look at that left foot because it is swollen." It gives me a great deal of confidence in her in that my wife is really getting some good care. I'm not just paying a person to come in, roll her over, and push her out in the family room.

My mom is receiving care at home from Right at Home. They are excellent and have been wonderful. They do everything from companionship to helping with meals, bathing, dressing, and they could take her to the doctor's appointments. They do everything. They are excellent and very friendly. I could not say enough good about these ladies. There are about 4 or 5 of different ladies and they have just been all wonderful. They make you feel that they are a part of your family. A lot of times, if there is someone different than the ladies that have been there, they call and let me know who is coming and what time they are coming. They have been great all the way around. You could definitely be reassured and relaxed with Right at Home. They are very quick to respond, I can't say enough good about them and I have nothing bad to say at all.

Their interaction with the client's family is valuable in the care of the family member. So happy with excellent health aid care Regina provided my Dad under very trying circumstances. She always kept her cool and juggled various personalities with grace and calmness. She was always on time. We communicated via text/phone for status updates. Alysia was an amazing RN coordinator putting in many extra hours offering me tips to think about when talking to other medical people. Right at Home provided care and assistance to my Grandmother. She wanted to stay living on her own as long as possible and Right at Home was instrumental in allowing this. She loved the staff that would come in to help her with bathing, house keeping and they even helped to cook things for family gatherings so that she still felt as though she was contributing to the event and I am sure they learned some awesome recipes and great stories in the process. Although, my grandmother is now in a nursing home, they allowed her to keep her independence until just shy of her 91st birthday, but other health issues required her to need more care. We all look back on her time with the staff at Right at Home with great memories and a fondness because they have allowed us to have her around for a lot longer. We're kind of at the crossroads right now, because my dad can still do a lot of things. Dad likes the company, but he can still bathe, feed, and dress himself. They helped us with laundry, grocery, shopping, company, doctor's visits, getting the mail, just little things. They picked four hours on Tuesday and four hours on a Thursday, and then he didn't want them to come anymore. He's still independent to have that care, so it was kind of like a waste right now. I'm trying to abide by my parents' wishes, but there might come to a point where we have to call them back. Right At Home is good. It was recommended by my parent's physician and they are recommended by a lot of people. So you go with what you know and what you hear.
