They are invaluable. Carmen feels that she doesn't need much help. She sleeps most of the time, so she doesn't think she needs help. For the rest of us, it's irreplaceable. She needs a lot of help with her daily care. There are times where none of us can be home. There is somebody capable here. They are easy to talk to. They are very responsive to needs as they come up. If a caregiver is not able to come for some reason, the substitutes are equally qualified.

My mother's 99 and can't take care of herself. She is able to be independent with their help. She would not be able to live on her own. I like that they are professional and always on time. They are very nice people that take care of my mother.

We don't get timely notifications when we have a replacement. They make a big difference in my mother's life by keeping her company and preparing her meals. I would like the agency to improve their assistants. We often don't know until the last minute when the caregivers are out, and even though they tell us that, they have told the company beforehand.

I am happy with the services because I do not have to worry about them. The services and the caregivers have been very consistent.

It depends on the person. The situation my mom is in a lot of times when she would call for assistance, it would take them a lot of time. When she calls to go to the bathroom by the time they get there, she had already gone to the bathroom. One time, they let her sit in it for an hour. I think they are difficult to find out answers, it's not apparent with the schedules, and it fluctuates a lot. It's hard to go back and forth and get information. It's not apparent what is going on, which is frustrating.

I have two children who live far away. She is my only contact with the outside world. The girl that comes is wonderful. She will talk to me about what I will be doing for the day after she gives me my medication.

It enables her to stay at home instead of being institutionalized. They do a pretty good job. They adapt well to my changing circumstances. I am generally pleased. They are able to adapt to changing situations. They are reliable.

Certain people the company has that take care of her do a phenomenal job and it makes it easier for us. I think they could have better communication with the office. Whenever they have issues where somebody doesn't show up for work, my mother is home alone until they get someone over to her.

It's very helpful. Without them, I would have to do a lot more for my mother. Whenever there is somebody that needs to be given a day off, it is often difficult to find replacement people who can drive. Sometimes they can't provide someone with a driver's license.

The agency has showed up. They have been very flexible with time and making changes as necessary. They take really good care of my mom. I have already recommended them to a friend. The people are great, super dependable, and the care that my mother has received is stellar.

Sometimes it's not easy to care for my loved ones. They are helpful directly to my loved ones because the aide gives my them their day. They could maybe have a little bit better communication with me regarding my loved ones or when there is a change in the aide so when I call over, I won't be surprised.

They are convenient and all the caregivers are certified. There are times that I've had to call at the last minute and the CNA wasn't able to stay, so we found someone else who fit our criteria. Home Care Assistance employs trustworthy people.

All the people they've sent are reliable, professional, and caring. I think their training program is quite good. My husband has Parkinson's and is prone to falls so someone has to be with him all the time.

They have reliable people. They have certainly helped a lot. When they started the first week or two, they assume that's as much as I want done. Sometimes things pop up that seem to be extra to them.

They are very caring, they are on time most of the time, I can count on them, and they call me when they aren't coming. They are doing the best that they can do. I don't have to do things myself and I am not able to do everything that I used to do.

There was one instance that was very upsetting. Our caver giver thought they knew better than me when I was in the shower. We had a shouting match. They have helped keep my husband clean and functioning.

I think they have grown too fast without staffing adequately. Their schedulers are overwhelmed, and the aides are not well-screened. The fact that there is someone there to help my mom with what she needs done is so helpful.

Home Care Assistance does what I want, not what they want, and they are completely honest. I can go out and do things with the caregiver. I am not afraid to fall when I go out because the caregiver is there to catch me.

They could provide some English speaking caregivers. Most of the people struggle with the language. I have to shout for them to understand. Most of the caregivers would just sit and watch me and that did not help me.

At this point in time, I would not recommend Home Care Assistance. We have been unhappy with them because we haven't had consistency with caregivers. The agency we were with previously left us a form telling us what they had done and what needs to be taken care of. Home Care Assistance doesn't do this, and to my knowledge they have not left any record of the care they have provided. We have only had Home Care Assistance for a month and I don't know what care has been provided because they leave no record of what is done. I have been terribly disappointed with Home Care Assistance because they are not providing the same quality services we previously received.

I would not recommend Home Care Assistance because the caregiver was late everyday and very strange. The services could have helped us more if the caregiver was interactive, proactive and engaged. She just sat in a chair.

First and foremost, my caregiver is excellent! Home Care Assistance totally seems to have its act together! They provide all the best services while being responsive and accommodating. They help you to make a game plan for your needs in general. I really couldn't get through the day without the kind of support that Home Care Assistance is giving me! Whether it's medical related or transportation needs, they are there.

In the beginning, some caregivers were neglecting and inexperienced. The current caregiver that we have is excellent. In the past, caregivers didn't show up to work or call the office. On the weekends, it was very hard to find a replacement. Now to avoid problems, we use Home Care Assistance and another company for the care of my loved one. My loved one is very limited in her mobility so the caregivers dress her and feed her. They are good at getting her to eat. If there's a medical problem, they know to call the right people.

Home Care Assistance is very good about supplying caregivers, and if one can't make it they are very good about finding a substitute. They monitor their caregivers to make sure they are doing what they are supposed to do. The caregivers come take care of my mom so I can go to work and not worry about my mom too much. I know that she is getting fed and getting her medicine.

I would recommend Home Care Assistance to others because the caretakers have been great. We have round-the-clock care, but we are having problems with the agency providing the right paperwork to the insurance agency so that I can be reimbursed. I love the caretakers, but it's the billing that is not working right now, and it may even be the insurance's fault. Home Care Assistance takes away some of the pressure of taking care of my parents.

I have had a very good experience working with this company. I feel very comfortable in discussing any problems ( which have been very few) I might have and they address them very quickly. I have been very pleased with the aides they have sent. They are professional and compassionate with my clients. The nursing supervisory staff has gone above and beyond their duties to help me in an emergency. I would highly recommend this group for their services.

We had a very good experience with using Home Care Assistance. They are very professional and prompt in responding to our questions/ requests. The two caretakers were also very easy to deal with the made our recovery easy. One of the best things about using this service is that you don't have to go through the hassle of screening caretakers as this company does it in advance.

We were thrilled that Home Care Assistance was able to help get Patricia into our parents home to work with mom and our lives. From the start Crystal arranged for us to interview three caregivers who were great with memory care patients - and on short notice! My brothers and I were so grateful for the follow-up, ideas,on how to handle mom, home visits and of course our caregiver Patricia. We could not have done without them so when we realized dad needed help we called them again! We have also recommend them to friends and family who need dedicated caregivers. Thank you Home Care Assistance!!!!
