Options For Senior America is good. We chose them because of their quick response. They are prompt in responding to my needs. They do light housekeeping and assist me with my bathing. I have someone to come to do therapy, and when I need a driver, they transport me to the doctor or wherever I need to go. However, they were supposed to adjust my bill and I had received three invoices, but they had not adjusted it yet.

We are off to a rough start with this agency. In the first two and a half weeks, we have had an aide walk out on our handicapped relative, due to a personality conflict. The aide was not mature enough to make sure someone replaced her before leaving our relative home alone. A week later, an aide never showed up and the agency was not aware that the aide was not where she was supposed to be for two hours - a breakdown in the morning report system. Throughout all of the problems, we have been told that the company administration will make things right. We are hoping that things will settle down and that we will be happy with the agency and be able write a more positive review in the coming weeks.

I got Options for Senior America. They’re wonderful. In fact, they’re starting again tomorrow for 4 days. The reason I went by them was because the man got back to me quickly, and I needed someone who was there everyday. The caregiver came on time for an interview. I was very impressed because the first person they sent out did not come at all. We had a good discussion. She was very friendly with my mom. I just really felt good.

Recently I had some surgery and thought my husband would be able to care for me when I returned home. Unfortunately, my needs were more than he could handle since his a disabled veteran and has his own issues. I realized the evening I arrived home that we would need some help. It was already into the evening and I called Options For Senior America. I left a voice message on their after hours line and to my surprise, received a return call within 20 minutes. Erin told me that she would call me back to let me know if she had a care provider to care for me over the night. She called me back promptly with the name and arrival time of my care provider. I felt so much better knowing I was going to have a qualified person to care to me through the night. The care provider arrived right on time with a very positive attitude and professional appearance. My husband was able to sleep through the night without my disturbing him and my care provider took excellent care of me. She checked my incision, took my temperature and blood pressure along with reminding me to take my medication. She was such a blessing that we even had her come back a second night. Options for Senior America was able to find a qualified care provider for us at a last minutes notice. If I ever have another surgery or a member of my family, I will be sure to contact Options for Senior America to help with the care.

Options for Senior America Baltimore was the most responsive. We used them for two to three months. On a negative note, they said the caregiver was willing to do some light housekeeping, but it turned out that person actually did not do light housekeeping. I think they could improve on clear communication about the services that they offer.
