My mom has dementia, and I was concerned about her walking ability and the support she needed at home. Family Health Care was recommended by a social worker. They did an assessment and they met with the family to explain what they were doing and why it would be helpful. They gave me very specific recommendations to assist, changes where the furniture should be, and they demonstrated to me exercises that I can do with her. They also provided physical therapy and occupational therapy.
