This review is twofold. My family was serviced by the agency when my spouse moved from treatment to paliative care by our oncologist. Our stay was only 15 days, but the care and concern shown by our team was incredibly compassionate, thorough, and educational. response times were without delay, phones were answered immediately, and answers provided to questions along with whatever support was needed. After my wife's passing, there was spot on follow up by various team members to ensure our needs were met. The second part is that I decided to volunteer at the agency a year after our period of care, and for the next 12 years provided whatever service I could that would assist the home office in their administrative needs and found that the staff and family in the organization were caring, dedicated people who continue every day to provide whatever is needed to comfort families, patients and loved ones in their time of need. I would recommend no other hospice organization other than Harry Hynes Memorial.

This is Wichita's oldest non-profit Hospice agency. They know their business and are fully prepared to do the job. With so many Hospice providers springing up, Harry Hynes has the experience and the quality employees to make sure all needs are being addressed. Great patient care and family support. They are there for you in a crisis situation. They provide everything you need susch as hospital bed, incontinence supplies, oxygen, nursing, pastoral, social service, medication, home health aide companion, caregiver education, limited respite and grief counseling. They even have in house wing for short term admissions.
