My husband was a patient after his colostomy. After I brought him home from the hospital, it was eight (8) days before a nurse came out to help us change his ostomy bag system. Since so much time had passed by, it had leaked two days prior to the nurse’s arrival. A gal from church came over to help with the situation. Once care started, there were three other days he was scheduled with a nurse for education and training with the bag change and the nurses did not show up. Two of those three occasions the bags leaked once again. Awful care. I feel sick saddened for people who need ongoing and chronic help from these people. Do not use IU Home health. They’re rude, unreliable and not compassionate. May W.
