She has been a TREMENDOUS helper/lifesaver/friend for me and my mom, Evelyn N., was has Alzheimer's. I had to move from my life (full-time job) in Dallas, Texas to bring my mom home to South Bend, Indiana in order for her to be in a more familiar place. "My wife, Susan, had a stroke 20 years ago that left her totally paralyzed on her left side. I began with Sr1Care about 10 years ago when we moved into their service area. Sr 1Care put together a team of caregivers that were trained in the specifics of caring for Susan. Whenever a caregiver had a family emergency and couldn't come to work, another fully trained caregiver would take over. Unlike previous caregivers we had used, Sr1Caregivers never say "That's not in my job description". Sr1 caregivers help Susan get showered and dressed and they help her with her toileting, as you would expect. They also help Susan with her Kindle reader and her laptop computer.
