My husband is at home right now with a caregiver from Home Instead. It is very good. The caregiver that we hired is excellent. My husband preferred a male, and the one we have here is wonderful. He is very willing to do anything and help with anything. He is a very kind gentleman. He is very respectful of us. He comes when we need him. We got him during the day from 7 in the morning until 6 at night, and it has been great. He has been wonderful. My husband has several fractures in his back, and so he has a difficult time standing and sitting down. This gentleman puts a gait belt on him, and he helps lift my husband if he has trouble standing with a walker and also sitting down, even though he uses a table or the walker to help him sit himself down. He has also been great at giving my husband a shower. We have grab bars, etc., however, it's nice to know that there is someone there should he need extra support or whatever as far as that is concerned. The caregiver vacuumed for me the other day, so I'm being spoiled, too. He's very, very caring. And everybody that we've dealt with at Home Instead has been very polite and very interested in making sure that our experience is great, and it has been.
